Best bagel shop! I always get the bakers dozen for when I travel abroad, to gift something special from New York to my friends of course the bagel. Today I passed by before my flight and the lovely Natasha was there to take my order! She was super friendly, funny and generous! Can’t wait to go back! Thank you Natasha for making my day   !

Visiting NY from Ohio, so I definitely had to stop and try a bagel shop in Brooklyn. The gentleman that took my order was so kind and you could tell he really wanted to make sure I was taken care of to the fullest. All the staff there had smiles on their faces and I just felt like I was in good hands the entire time. I even took the gentleman’s recommendation on what I should get on my bagel- and when I tell you I DEVOURED that bagel. I wish there was a black seed bagels in Ohio &lt;/3 Until next time Brooklyn

The bagels are delicious and this place is always busy- however, that also leads to a bit of a wait if you’re getting anything other than bagels from the baskets to go. The pizza bagel is delicious. I was a little weirded out by my cream cheese on my sandwich tasting a bit curdled, but was still good overall.Food: 4/5

I recently visited Black Seed with high expectations, only to leave extremely disappointed due to an inexplicably long wait time for a simple bagel.  Upon arriving, the ambiance was inviting, and the staff seemed friendly. I placed my order for a bagel with cream cheese and settled in, expecting a quick turnaround. However, 50 minutes later, I was still waiting.  As I sat there, I couldn't help but notice numerous customers who ordered after me receiving their food and leaving well before my order was ready. I approached the counter twice to inquire about the delay, only to be met with vague reassurances that my order was "almost ready."  When my bagel finally arrived, it was clear there had been a mix-up. No apology or explanation was offered, and by then, my appetite had been replaced by sheer frustration.  While the bagel itself was decent, the excessive wait time and lack of communication from the staff overshadowed any positive aspects of my meal.

Usually so consistent… but I just got a takeout BLT and the bagel was burnt i like them on the toastier side but not blackened.  Bummer!Food: 5/5

Typing this mid-bite because it's so delicious I had to tell you folks about it.  Just happened to be wandering past and decided a bagel would hit the spot. I snagged an everything bagel with almond butter.  Fast service, reasonable prices, and a very fresh and delicious nom!

They run out of the good bagels early in the day even during the week. You either get the wrong bagel or a burnt bagel if they have it in stock. I've given them many chances over the years but this store hasn't improved. This place isn't worth it. Leon's Bagels on Bedford Ave is so much better and way more consistentFood: 1/5

Great BEC with avocado. Had a good ratio of bagel to filling. Fast service — was ready for pickup in 5 mins. The drip coffee is fine and satisfying. Yum. Good outdoor seating vibe.
