I really like the Creekside trail for walking my dog. It is a very easy trail and often I seem to be the only one out there. Very peaceful.

My siblings and I invariably find ourselves here walking off a large holiday meal or burning off some of the kiddos' energy. It's a great, easily accessible escape into the wilds of Blackwater creek.

Great nature area. It's well maintained and you'll feel safe. There are always others using it.

A beautiful and peaceful trail system perfect for biking, walking, or running. Lots of friendly faces abound and wildlife sightings are not uncommon. This an ideal trail for all ages and abilities. Definitely a great asset for the Lynchburg area.

Neat place in the middle of the city, but don't go wading because you will surely get a fish hook in your foot.
