The main reason for using a tax service is for their competence and cost. Blake Financial Services receive high marks in both of these areas. They are always pleasant and helpful. A bonus is that they are really nice people. My wife and I have been using their services for over 20 years, and every time we go in we feel like we're visiting a favorite relative. David brings us up to date on major events that have transpired over the last year in his life, and then in regards to our lives, he picks up where the conversation left off the previous year. The worst possible service I have ever seen. I tried to send my documents for tax return preparation by sharing a Dropbox link - it was a way too complex for them. I emailed a password protected zip file - they did not figure out how to enter a password. I brought my documents by visiting their office over two weeks ago - they said that there is no need to book an appointment in advance. I called them today trying to figure out what is going on just to find out they are not going to do my taxes at all. I have only 2 weeks left to find another company. Do not trust anything they say.

This team is unbelievable! They've been doing my taxes in a professional, competent manner for years. They are knowledgeable, helpful and affordable. No matter what the question, I get an answer that I can understand and trust. I can't imagine facing a tax season without their help. THANKS YOU GUYS!

Blake Financial was referred to me by a client more than fifteen years ago. I've used them ever since. Dave, Ray and Nikki have been professional and personable all the way through every year. I'm not sure if they are taking very many new clients at this time but if you know someone that has an "in" with this firm you may have a chance at being considered.
