I attend church here mainly for the Africian Mass which happens once a month on the second Sunday at 2:00pm. I think the experience at this church can be highly variable depending on which priest is performing the mass. Also, priests get rotated to different churches without warning. Although I was raised Catholic, I attend Christian services mainly.

The program that has been at the Church now for year two is a poor excuse for "religious education". It's disorganized and poorly run. The children are to receive a meaningful lesson in 30 minutes? I think not! The rationale is that they are going to mass for 1 hour, which is considered "education". The program consists of material that was used on Sundays during family mass to teach the children the Liturgy of the Word. The same is being used for religious ed. Very little time is spent in engaging and initiating the children in the Catholic Faith apart from what most kids have already been doing for most of their lives. Our family is looking elsewhere for a program that rejoices and celebrates in teaching children our faith!
