Bloom Twp Fire is comprised of 15 full time Firefighters and part time Firefighters. We operate out of 2 stations with a minimum of 6 FF's on duty a day.
Bloom Township Fire Department proudly protects 10,200 people living in an area of 45 square miles. Bloom Township Fire Department provides Fire, Rescue and Medical services to the residents of Bloom Township, Fairfield County and parts of Madison Township, Pickaway County as well as part of the City of Canal Winchester. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily residential area. We are staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week with no less than 5 Firefighter/Paramedics on duty.
Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. We have an ISO rating of 4 within the Village of Lithopolis and a 7 in the Township.
The Bloom Township Fire Department is home to the IAFF Local 3465. We are proud to work with our volunteers and part time employees. The fire department is governed by the Bloom Township Board of Trustees.
