We used to have a great groomer, but she moved away to FL. For the past 18 months we have been searching for someone, anyone who could give our Wheaten Terrier the puppy cut look we were looking for.

Today, I tell you, that Hector, by far, gave our Wheatie the best grooming she's ever had. 

He made sure to ask me how I wanted her cut, to get all the proper details, and he is the FIRST person to get her to look exactly how we wanted.

In addition, the other staff went out of their way to communicate with me via text messaging in order to accommodate my hectic schedule to get my Wheatie girl in for a cut.

Absolutely great customer service. Absolutely great work. 10/10 Would Highly Recommend

AWFUL. They shaved my Samoyed without asking. Samoyeds are not supposed to be shaved. They need their hair for protection during the winter and the summer. Their hair also never grows back the same and can take years. They also didn't finish and only shaved the front half of him. When the owner saw how upset I was, rather than taking responsibility, she verbally attacked my mom

Hands down the best grooming our dogs ever had!  Courteous & accommodating customer service was followed by first visit to super clean facility & later by pickup of our two 10-lb boys looking---& smelling!!---the spiffiest than ever before!  Beyond our expectations of a small-town sea-shore shop!  If you relate to our review, give Maritime a shot!  Now that we're back at the Shore, they'll be our spot for quarterly grooms!
OUR BOYS & US: Our Chihuahua mixes are both rescues from the mean barrios & streets of Los Angeles, from which we relocated back to our shore hometown in Nov 2012. It was thus very reassuring to know our groomer that day (Maritime's owner) formerly worked in animal control because we were able to explain with much more ease about the bullet still lodged in one of the boys & about the other's cowering behavior, both having survived the trauma of the streets as they miraculously did.  Although we approach our dogs as our priceless children, we also playfully treat them as ruff-n-tumble boys who aren't fragile show prizes---ie, we don't expect & won't pay for AKC-worthy pampering & fussing; Maritime seemed to fit us just right.  
OUR CIRCUMSTANCES: It was the Saturday after XMas & despite a super-bad nor'easter bearing down on the Shore, we couldn't stand another day of our Pom-Chi's Beef-Au-Jus-scented fur any more (little stinker parked himself beneath the prime-rib carving station on XMas day & his fur soaked up the drippings like a sponge!).  Despite being cold-call clients, owner fit us in with one other dog for whom she was opening her shop that morning (many businesses closed this day in light of extreme weather conditions predicted).  She was courteous, authentic & accommodating.  Her experience with Pomeranians was evident in our Pom-Chi looking the snazziest he has ever looked---his terrific groom caused a flurry of positive comments from all our FaceBook friends back in LA.  THANKS, MARITIME!
