I just called Blooms At The 49th to place an order for delivery. I first asked if they are able to make a delivery on Sunday. Her response, in a very curt tone, was "we never have, we never will, and we're certainly not starting this Sunday." 

I was absolutely dumbfounded by her response and so taken aback that I asked if there was a problem. She said "no no... we're just really busy right now, so I can't make any promises about delivery on Saturday either."

At that point I just said "okay, never mind." and hung up. I am completely shocked that this is how Blooms At The 49th conducts business and treats their prospective customers, whether they are swamped or not.

Avoid!!

Unbelievably great service. Got a call from them this am. said they just got a flower order. time was 9:23am. Unfortunately we were scheduled to leave by 10:15am latest for a trip and she said she couldn't do it since she was there alone. I asked she do the best she could. At 9:47 am. they were delivered, and, not only that they are a spectacular arrangement, which matters as much as the delivery.

We received exceptional service. 
I ordered flowers for my brother and sisterinlaws 50th Anniversaryfrom my home up north.
I thought I would pop in and see my flowers before they were delivered. They were lovely, very happy with them.
I was leaving when the lady said do you know so and so because they have ordered flowers from a California order house. They don't deal with them.
I said yes, that was my great niece.
The lady said if my niece can straighten out the order soon she could get some delivered before the store closed.
I made calls and they got it all straightened out. Beautiful flowers were delivered in time. Thankyou!
