Enjoyed a nice lunch here on the way up to the Northern Coast. You can tell it’s a popular lunch spot for the locals. Lots of seating outside and very dog-friendly. The Rooster was delicious and the salads are big, fresh, and flavorful. The prices are a bit steep $35 for sandwich and salad, but filling and well-made.Food: 5/5
Delicious!! It's a little pricey but honestly very much worth it for the quality and quantity of food you receive. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back when in the area. Service was also very friendly. The ranch is made in house, a lot of their produce and meat are sourced from local farms, and they even make their own rice krispies treats. Vegetarian options: Plenty of salad options, and some vegetarian sandwiches. Kid-friendliness: Has a decent looking kids menu.
What happened to prices?? For a salad and a sandwich with fries, two cans of diet coke. $67? The food is great, don't get me wrong. But it's the value for what you get that might be a bit off. The atmosphere is good, they have some indoor seating but also a great back patio area that's bigger than the inside. The service is good as well, everyone was helpful. Just have to make this a once-in-a-while thing rather than a go-to. Parking: Parking lot located in the rear tmof the building is public parking with access to the back entrance of blue barn.
How do you not beat Blue Barn salads? Absolutely delicious and huge! Everything else is also amazing. Our kids staple is all the fried stuff like chicken strips, hash browns and french fries. On a nice day, their outside area is amazing! Especially for keeping the young children all contained!Recommended dishesTator Tots
Freakin delicious! And adorable to boot! We stopped in before the lunch rush to grab some sandwiches and salads - amazingly tasty! Plus we sat out on their beautiful back patio - lovely atmosphere! I tried the BLT and Burrata sandwiches and they were awesome - plus GOOD FRIES! Always get the fries
Didn't have any expectations when I showed up with a few out of town friends. I just know they have fries, something we've been craving. To our surprise, they have a charming huge patio in the back with live music! I didn't care for the Thai salad, but my friends loved it. The sandwiches were pretty good portions, great for sharing. Even with the steep prices for sandwiches, salad, and fries, we enjoyed the experience and likely will be back again given the chance.
Delicious food, fun atmosphere, even during a pandemic— the back patio is open and a fun place to dine in... outside. The salads are huge and hearty with very tasty dressing, pair it with a side of fried and that’s my favorite meal! You can’t beat the sandwiches either... perfection! The water is equally refreshing. Stay hydrated!
Humongous delicious salads. If you feel like eating indoors they have large indoor area with a view to the town's Main Street. It's lovely to be outdoors either at a table around the lawn, Port over on the cement patio if one prefers. In the evenings there's live music on the little outdoor stage. Salad dressings are quite good. Prefer the chicken sandwiches at Chick-Fil-A to here, although this one was all right but it is better and 1/3 of the price at Chick-Fil-A. Sadly, there is no coffee here unless you want to buy cold coffee in a can.
I asked to have a sandwich with grilled cheese, pickles, onions, avocado, tomato, lettuce, mustard and mayonnaise. While very pleasant, the staff informed me that they could do mustard or mayonaise, but not both. They had both, she said, but the only way I could have both on my sandwich was to have the mustard in a cup on the side. This lead to the bizzare experience of having to open the sandwich up after it arrived and smear mustard into it because none of the chefs could manage this feat of engineering! Then there were no pickles available, I was told. Finally, the sandwich with one coke to go, cost $27. - making it the most expensive sandwich I've ever had, with no side of fries or anything - just a sandwich on the smaller side. I've had much better sandwiches at Andy's market with all that I wanted for $8. so I would not recommend for sandwiches, which is why I went there.
Ordered first time for takeout, the Cobber. Immense size made it unreasonably under dressed with the small container of included dressing. So today i ordered again, being sure to order extra dressing. When i picked up the order, i saw only one dressing in the bag, so i asked about the extra dressing. I was assured without hesitation that the other dressing was in with the salad. Nope. Called to speak with someone as there is no online option to deal.with customer service. Was laughed at over a noisy connection. Pity as the food is quite good, i wont return for takeout.
