July 19, 2017 We stayed in the "Dollhouse" for 2 nights. Other than being a 2 minute walk to the water with a pretty beach- thus the 2 stars-, I have nothing good to say and would never return to this inn. I echo many of the cons in previous posts. The innkeeper was not helpful and never showed us to our room. The "alluring" afternoon cocktail hour was no more than crackers one day and salsa the next. My high schooler was a more creative chef. We had to walk around from the back of the property through the front door and into a basement, which was dark and hot (from the oven) to get breakfast. It was the exact same both days except for French toast one day. All baked goods were dry and bland. The cook never spoke or explained anything. We took our food on a tray to a back garden (small) but could not see the water. No proteins or whole grains. Our room was deceptively small and so hot we couldn't open the windows to hear the water, (needed a/c 24/7) but also, we were right on top of the Surf hotel so no privacy! The outdoor shower had no door and many of the beach chairs were broken.

Nice B & B. Excellent location for travelers without a vehicle. Tasty eclectic breakfast. Cordial happy hour. Excellent hosts.

The Tea House is an amazing little spot right on the beach. Ann has made such an incredible place here. Don't leave without having the barnacle cookies!

Very cozy, pet friendly, clean place located right on the beach and a 5 minute walk from the ferry. Holly the Inn keeper is very friendly and super helpful. They have delicious breakfast! Most definitely staying here on the next visit to Block Island.

Wonderful hospitality in a classic inn. Don't expect a modern hotel and you won't be disappointed. And dog friendly too!
