Exceptional Native American Indian Jewelry, Turquoise Jewelry, Gold and Silver Jewelry, Navajo Jewelry. Authentic Native American Jewelry, Handmade Jewelry
We have often been asked "what is a blue-eyed bear?". Our business name was inspired by a Zuni fetish carved from a deep-blue piece of azurite. The fetish and our ongoing interest in Native American Legends, Native American Jewelry and Native American Art led to the name.
Blue-Eyed Bear began in 1986 when Linda and Bud Johnson opened their first store in Uptown Sedona. The second location was opened at Hillside Sedona in 1997. We later closed our Hillside location and consolidated our inventory to our Uptown Store, and continue to offer elegant Native American jewelry and art that are of exceptional quality but well in the affordable price range.
We feature contemporary jewelry by award-winning Native artisans including Allison Snowhawk Lee, Robert Taylor, Alvin Yellowhorse, Dina Huntinghorse; Navajo folk art; Zuni fetishes and Pendleton blankets.
At Blue-Eyed Bear we carry art that is traditionally inspired but with a contemporary flair. We're very true to our store slogan: "Dedication to tradition with an eye on the future".
