Hands down the best sushi bar in Contra Costa. Freshest seafood, excellent service and overall tasty creations. We've come here for years.

Everything good to excellent and very nice wait staff. As a first time visitor I would have liked photos or more detailed descriptions on the menu but my companion made some really good choices.

Small quiet sushi joint, perfect for a date night. Went at 8 and sat at the sushi bar. Server was very nice and friendly. Had really good cold sakehad a little ice chamber to keep it cold miso soup and tofu to start. The sushi rolls were made quick, and they were amazing! Reasonably priced too. We both really enjoyed our dinner date. Will be back

Love their California rolls, tempera and chicken dishes. So so good and their teriyaki sauce is the best anywhere!!!

Good food, especially the Diablo Roll! Friendly customer service. Major disappointment was that all the takeout was packaged in plastic. It’s 2021 - can’t pretend we don’t know that so many better packaging options are available

Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but as this is the second time I've had this experience, I am leaving this review. My family and I made a take-out order and were instructed to wait for twenty minutes. We returned after that time, payed, and continued to wait... For half an hour. At this point there was still no sign of the food or a that there had been any progress to fulfilling our order, so we asked for a refund and left. Again, if this were a one time occurrence, I'd give them benefit of the doubt, but it appears there is a problem in their order handling. I hope they solve this because the food they serve is superb.

The best sushi in town. Amazing rolls, fresh seafood and the grilled rice ball is to die for. We have been coming here for years and they never disappoint. Five stars all around.

Tired restaurant.  Good ok.  Sushi not the freshest. OK waitstaff, not warm, engaging or fun to add to experience. It wasn't bad, just not good. Have to admit, my standards for Japanese restaurants are very high.

I don't eat sushi and we just moved to the Lamorinda area less than a year ago. My daughter came to visit and she loves sushi so I spent some quality time looking at reviews for area sushi places. Seven of us went, only four of us ate sushi, and we all left pleased. The sushi eaters all enjoyed the sushi and the rest of us tried terriakyi chicken, peach chicken, and salmon udon. I would definitely return.
