Awesome food, friendly/attentive staff, and quick service. They have ample outdoor seating. It was easy to get a table for Sunday brunch even though they were crowded. The servers are friendly and were very attentive the whole time we were there. We enjoyed our meals. Will definitely be back!
Amazing sports bar with fast service and strong drinks. Beth and Meg both kept my drink full the whole time. Sound was on during the World Cup and was all around prestige vibes. DJ tears it up when commercials are on.
Watched the World Cup finals here. Hats off to the full staff especially Beth & Meg!. It was packed first thing in the morning and they managed to keep drinks full and their patrons happy. High energy, tons of fun
This is a scam bar. After the first sip of drink, they say minimum is $50/person. They didn’t say it on the phone. They didn’t say when sitting over the table. They say it just after first sip of drinks. Wouldn’t recommend this bar! You can have a better options!! Btw: as a sport bar, the screens suck.
Regarding the below 1* reviews: We reserved a table outdoors unaware of any minimum $ amount a customer must pay in order to stay. As we order a drink, we are told of the $50 minimum per person. Not before. Waitress claims "this is how it always is" which is essentially a fear tactic- she is saying that if we go somewhere else, expect the same minimum charge. We had given them a card to start a tab- owner claims we could have gotten up and left but couldn't they have charged the card $50/person upon us leaving? In our situation, we have no incentive to leave though two of us did. We want to watch the game, after all! We were implied that other places would have this restriction. We felt compelled to stay and order enough food to meet the $50 minimum. We then over-order to try to make the $50 minimum. We get about 70% there. Later on, waitress comes back and tells us the $50 minimum does not apply to outdoor tables, after we are practically done eating/drinking. It does not matter if the owner tries to talk his way out of it online or in person. Maybe it's an honest mistake. However, this is a very important detail for the waitress to miscommunicate to us. The timing of her miscommunications were really bad, so you could understand why someone would feel scammed by this experience.
DON’T GO!!! A group of us went there for 2022 World Cup final. They didn’t tell us min $50/person until we already sit there having the first sip of drink. It doesn’t have this information from their website, and phone when reservation. Two other ppl in our group left because they don’t feel comfortable. All of us stayed in cold, windy outside with limited heats and small screens although we feel being scammed. Then they saw bad reviews and they cancelled $50 for ppl sitting outside. But it’s too late and we already ordered a lot just to meet $50 in the beginning. And we also don’t agree 25% required min tip. None of us thinks they deserve. A FULL SCAM
Blue Haven is a great spot to watch a sporting event or just to head out with a group of people. The place is pretty big, with one large bar in the front and another smaller bar in the back. Solid beer selection, the food was great, and the atmosphere was a lot of fun.
Just had a $14 WATERY Mexican salad with an up charge of $2 for sour cream. There’s better to be had in NYC.
Nachos are massive. Good selection of cocktails . Slightly younger crowd and good music .
Such a fun brunch spot! Make sure to order nachos… they have tater tots
