Story

Blue Heron Brewpub and West 14th Restaurant is located in the historic Parkin Place. We offer the best in pub dining downstairs and fine dining upstairs. We carry handcrafted & locally brewed beers. We are making a conscious effort to purchase more local products. In addition to fine dining, a full service bar and lounge is available for your enjoyment.

We also cater, and accommodate for banquets! The Heron Room is our small room with seating for up to 15 people, it is great for meetings! The Parkin Room holds up to 50 people and is often used for; rehearsal dinners, shows, birthdays, and luncheons. We can in addition rent out our entire upstairs for private parties.

Wednesday afternoon for lunch. The service was pretty bad. A couple tables came in after us we're waited on and got their food before our order was taken. Had to ask three different servers for our bill. One of the drinks that was ordered never showed up. However the food was very good. It may just have been us the other tables seem to have good service overall I would recommend this restaurant if you don't mind waiting a bit.

We have been long time customers of the Pub and have always enjoyed going there. However, last night's visit, left me very disappointed in their food. I have in the past ordered their BLT sandwich and found the generously portioned triple decker BLT very good. Last night when I ordered it from the menu with the same description and price as in the past, it was not the triple deck sandwich I had enjoyed in the past , but rather two pieces of toast with some very hard (obviously warmed up) bacon alone with the lettuce and tomato. And to top it off, my house cut fries were soggy. Again a sign that they had been sitting around for a while. I have also heard other customers say the portions are getting smaller. If this is the type of food I can expect from the Pub in the future, they will have lost a customer. On a good note, the beer was good.

Great drink selection. Good quality is fantastic. Staff is always friendly. And the decor is pretty interesting. Great place for an evening out.

Excellent food, I had the elk burger and it was fantastic! Very nice establishment with a hefty menu and amazing microbrew selection. Highly recommended.

I love the atmosphere in this restaurant; great place for a casual meal or a drink with friends. The menu has great items that will always keep me coming back. I just wish they would bring back the spinach artichoke dip!
