Fast & Friendly service. Great coffee and tasty homemade  cookies. A cozey atmosphere inside & an outside area for some fresh air. I will definitely continue coming here when I'm in town. Check it out!

The Blue House is definitely a staple for anyone that has lived in Carlsbad. All my friends and I would go here when we were in high school, college, and now our careers. The Atmosphere is quintessential small town coffee house. The coffee is always phenomenal and the owners and staff really get to know the community that comes in and out and treats them with such amazing hospitality. A must for sure.

We visited on the Saturday after Thanksgiving before heading to Carlsbad Caverns. This place was busy, but the line moved quickly and the staff was very friendly. We ordered breakfast burritos with green chili and cheese, plus (for an extra charge) sausage for one and asparagus + potato for the other. These were spicy and delicious. The only thing that would have made our visit better was if we could have enjoyed their cute front garden with our traveling dog, but instead we got everything to go because only service animals are allowed here (even outdoors).

Amazing coffee, friendly people, and great coffee. I recommend this place to everyone who visits Carlsbad.
