Pizzas were amazing and the drinks were delicious. I got the pepperoni pizza and the stuffed mushroom and both were buttery, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I really wanted to try their chicken sandwich but they were sold out. To drink I had the new motto cocktail—really good, and my husband ordered the Mexican fire squad and he really liked it.

Really great vibes and delicious food. The pizza was nice and crispy and had the perfect crust. Drinks were also good. We missed out on visiting the speak easy as we were short on turn but will definitely be going back to check it out.

This was my first trying Detroit style pizza, and I absolutely loved it!  It’s a deep dish pizza, but it’s more on the lighter side.  The crust had a light crisp and was buttery.  I had the eggplant pizza, and it was AMAZING!  For appetizer I had the cast iron sweet plantains, and that was delicious!  They had a whole bunch of unique appetizers that you can’t find anywhere else.  I loved the menu, and the pizza!  I highly recommend trying Blue Steel Pizza in Bloomfield!

So the food and service here was just amazing! Lindsey our waitress and Nick the bartender gave us the 5 star treatment and we loved it! I would recommend the crispy cola wings and the plantain dish.. it was all just so yummy. Definitely going back and would recommend to all my friends!

I haven't had good Detroit style pizza outside of Detroit. This cured my homesickness in a major way. My husband, a native New Yorker and pizza lover said this was the best pizza that he has ever had. We had a supreme pizza and the meatballs. Both were delicious. It's a beautiful space with excellent service. The online reservation feature was a plus as well. We will certainly return soon! Thanks!

The food and service were exceptional! We shared a bunch of apps and cocktails. I can’t wait to go back for pizza and dessert. I highly recommend this place.  The menu was eclectic and delicious.

Yesterday evening was my first experience at Blue Steel Pizza Co. The restaurant has a very cool, lounge like vibe… dimly lit and with warm decor. Very cool spot for a date, or a chill night out for cocktails and good food with friends. All the staff were very nice and attentive. cocktails and food were great- definitely a great place to order a bunch of different small plates and pizzas to share . While the area and parking are so so, there is a parking garage across the street and it’s definitely worth the trip to venture away from Bloomfield Ave Montclair restaurants to this restaurant in Bloomfield. I will definitely return again .

I absolutely LOVE this place! I was here yesterday to celebrate my graduation. Lee and Evan were my bartenders and they were A-Ma-Zing! AC is out in my building so my fiancé and I walked over for some relief. Our bartender, Brett, was ! He concocted the mixed drink in the photo. Jamie, the manager, is warm and takes an “all hands on” approach to managing. I have found my new local watering hole. Food is also amazing. The pizzas are a must try!!!

1st time here. Nice atmosphere. Very friendly service.  We tried the Cripsy Cola Wings. All I can say is....WOW. WHAT GREAT FLAVOR. Just the right amount of sweet and heat.  We also ordered a Detroit style pizza, half cheese / half pepperoni. Which also has banana peppers on it. The pizza is great. Crispy crust. Tasty toppings. Well cooked. Unlike some places I've had Detroit style pizza.  I'll definitely be back with family and friends. This is a place you have to try.

Blue Steel Pizza is a very nice quaint restaurant located in Bloomfield NJ. They specialize in Detroit style pizza and have a ton of options from which to choose. In addition to the pizza, they have many other options like small plates, pasta and entrees. We had the Ricotta and Sausage Pizza and the Not Just Sunday Gravy which is Strozzapretti with meatballs, sweet sausage, brasciole and oregano. We also had two drinks and everything was great. Our server, Johnathan, was knowledgeable and very attentive!
