I would give them 5 stars, but the food is just not at a 100% level. I am a sucker for Sake and a Crunchy Blue, but the quality seems to be waning.

The last few times I have been in, once for lunch and once for happy hour, the sushi has been pretty rough. 

The rice was cold and the grains had gotten hard and gritty, which is on par with refrigerated sushi from the supermarket in my book, not good enough for a sushi restaurant with multiple people seeing to the sushi being made. If the rice is off, the food is off...

As a side note, avocado seems to be creeping in as a filler for previous, more expensive fish. I look to the Spicy Tuna as an example. Hiro doesn't do that.

All that said, the place is nice, the wait staff is trying hard, and the plating is great... it's not bad, just not what it used to be/could be again.

This place has some of the most amazing sushi I have had. The craziest part is that it is in Omaha! I would highly recommend coming here for a first time if you have never had sushi. I try a different roll every time I come. The thriller is by far one of my all time favorites. Come during happy hour, great deals for anyone looking to try.

Terrible service.  Hostess didn't seem to know where to seat us. They claimed the bar was reserved seating and pulled out group of 4 off the bar saying we needed reservations to sit there. Watched a solo guy walk in, sit at bar and get served a few minutes later.  Very condescending tone from all staff. Would not recommend.

Slow service, over priced, and not enough portions. Wait staff will refill water three times before the food arrives. Do not recommend

Delicious food, but way smaller portions for just sushi and sashimi than previously thought.
