I don't write a lot of negative reviews, but I think this needs to be read. I had a wonderful doctor at this office, but I will not be returning to it because of the staff. As my general physician, I think that I should be able to be seen and cared for on days that I'm sick. I could NEVER get in. Booked months in advance, and NO ONE in that office seemed to treat me like a patient. No one cared that I was sick and needed to see MY doctor. Both times that I was ill since I started going to BIM (one year ago), I was told that I would have to wait a couple days to come in. They answer the phones, but insist on forwarding you to your doctors nurse's voicemail, which you'll be lucky to get a returned phone call. My first illness turned out to be a kidney infection that I was about to go to the EMERGENCY ROOM for because I was in so much pain, and they wouldn't see me. Luckily, I was able to see a specialist that day. The second time I felt as though I was getting sick, so they ALLOWED ME to come in for a throat culture for strep, which came back negative, but when I asked if they would let it sit overnight and see if it would turn into strep, the nurse who gave me my results looks at me like I'm an idiot and said, "hmm, no, we don't do that here." Three days later I was in so much pain and was so sick, that I went back to the same specialist who saw me for my kidney infection, and he was able to treat me... For the strep it had developed into. I have NEVER experienced a doctors office like this. The absolute lack of care and respect that I received is unbelievable. Like I said, I had a wonderful doctor, but I was lucky to get to see him because of his STAFF. I discourage anyone who would like to be taken care of when you are sick by your own doctor to not join this practice.

If your appointment is at 9 you get in at 9:30. Always late and no one ever says sorry.
