Blue Pearl is filled with knowledgeable, compassionate vets and staff. We took our nearly 16 year old dog, we had him for 14.5 of those years, to the hospital very late on a Saturday evening in December. They delivered fantastic care, kept us informed, performed a few tests and talked over next steps with our entire family. When the ultimate best decision was to allow him to exit this world peacefully, they gave us all the time we needed to tell him good bye. It was comforting to be with him at the end and know we spared him a terrible reality in the next few days. While this isn't a place I hope to visit again, at least for a very long time, I wouldn't hesitate to involve them in any kind of emergency care.

Upon arrival at the center, we were greeted right away. After explaining why we were there-we needed to put our almost 15 year old dog to rest- we were placed in a room immediately. The staff was so compassionate and caring while discussing all of our options. It was so reassuring to know that our dogs’ end of life would be painless. We were told we could take as much time as needed before and after. The doctor let us face time with our children who are deployed over seas while our pup was put to sleep. A few days later we received a card signed by the entire staff acknowledging our loss. We are so thankful for such compassionate and caring staff.

I'm so thankful this place exists. Our sweet cat of almost 17 years was scheduled for a vet appointment, but it appeared she wouldn't make it through the night. We arrived on a Friday evening and they got us right in. After an exam and some testing they gave us a range of options. The right choice, for her, was euthanasia. We expected that, but it obviously didn't make it any easier. I wish words could express how grateful we are for their caring compassion. It was one of the most painful things to bear, and they knew it. They gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbye and make it as peaceful as possible. The entire staff, including the veterinarian, allowed us to think, cry, talk, etc. without pressure. And when it was over, they gently cared for her remains so that we could take her home for her final arrangements. That was all followed several days later by a beautiful, heartfelt card. Our Sissy couldn't have been loved more in life and in death. For being there. For caring. For compassion. For helping our baby pass in peace... Thank you! Thank You! Thank you!

We took our 3 year old pit/boxer mix in when she was having a severe allergic reaction. We had called ahead and the staff was waiting for us when we got there and took her back immediately. They were so kind and friendly, which was very welcome at 4 in the morning. Unfortunately 4 days later we had to return with another allergic reaction and again- the staff went above and beyond. They even wanted us to call a few hours after we got home to make sure our sweet girl was better. We are very fortunate to have Blue Pearl so close.

We took our 16 year old lab mix here after he had a very rough day of throwing up. We were aware of his other medical issues prior to this visit, but we knew something wasn't right and he needed immediate attention. After the staff and doctor accessed our dog, they confirmed what we were expecting. We made that difficult decision to put him down. The staff and doctor ware just amazing. They took the time to explain everything about the process and what to expect. They gave us all the time we needed both before and after to spend with our beloved dog. A few days later, we received a wonderful card that had been personally signed by the staff. It provided us great comfort. I can't say enough kind things about how well Blue Pearl took care of us and our dog. Thank you for your compassion and your support.
