I have never written a bad review in my life but I don't have a single positive thing to say about Bluewater. I had a bad feeling about our rental after my mom and some family members checked into their Bluewater house rental the day before my wedding. When she walked in (well after checkin time) it was clear that their house had not been touched! There was sand, dirt and hair all over the floor, POOP and toilet paper floating in a toilet, hair hanging off a bar of soap in the shower, and dirty wet towels thrown in both bathroom floors, not to mention not a single bed was made!! They did send a "touch-up" crew to clean the place while she was trying to get ready for our rehearsal dinner and guests arriving! Not a mention of any kind of refund for at least the cleaning fee that they paid! Then I reserved a 1 bedroom condo at the Pelicans Roost for my honeymoon to stay for the week after our wedding in Atlantic Beach from Sunday-Sunday. The one thing they did allow us to do was check in one hour early, my husband went to get the keys at 2:00 instead of 3 which in their opinion is "extremely early" because he had to be at the venue by 2:30. Had we gone in the condo at that point we wouldn't have even stayed even that night. After our after party we went to the condo around 2:30am. Before we even opened the door we saw cigarette butts along the window seal. Once we were inside we were greeted by the strongest musty odor we have ever smelled and dirty towels thrown in the corner. There were gnats and flies all around the living room/kitchen area and the only part of the house that looked like the photos was the main living room area. We got up first thing in the morning at 6:30 and went over to a family members condo where they luckily had a place available so we paid an additional $800 for a rental that was only available through Friday which cut us short 2 days. After getting some much needed rest, we planned to go to Bluewater to tell them about our issues but unfortunately one of our elderly family members ended up in the hospital so we had to attend to that for the rest of the evening. As soon as we were able to go in Tuesday we checked out and filed a complaint and we finally heard back from them a week later where they offered us a $100 credit! I understand that we most likely wouldn't have gotten our money back but a partial refund or at least a larger credit towards another rental would have been nice!! After we received the email that they sent us, we called to talk to them in person. My husband, one of the calmest people I know, did all of the talking and did not raise his voice one time. The property manager that we spoke to was literally yelling at him to the point that he had to ask to speak and if she would listen to his concerns. That was by far the worst customer service that I have ever experienced in my life! We visit Atlantic beach 3-4 times per year and will never again rent through Bluewater again. Luckily I rented a house for myself and my bridesmaids for the weekend before the wedding and had a wonderful experience and stayed in a beautiful, clean house. I would advise anyone to look into Homeaway or another source before renting from Bluewater!

Bluewater was great to work with us. Friendly & nice follow up, etc. Quick to respond to the 1 issue we had. PERFECT location, not crowded. Very clean unit, well stocked, LOTS of room for all of us. Minimum of steps/stairs to the beach compared to other locations in area.

We had a very good experience with Bluewater and the rental property. The house was as described--no issues. The staff at Bluewater were professional and friendly. Great experience.

Our family has vacationed in several Bluewater rentals, most recently No Pier Pressure in Atlantic Beach. What a CUTE home. It rents as a whole house and duplex so when you rent the entire home you get 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms in addition to another large family room. It is perfect for multiple families since some can have their own space. The game room was a hit for both the kids and adults. We didn't need a thing during our stay, except for one time we called to ask about the Wifi code - which was already included in our email before we checked in and in their app. Duh. When we called the ladies at the front desk were so sweet and helpful and even offered to have one of our techs come out if we experienced any issues with the internet, which was so sweet but not needed. We grilled the mahi we caught on that awesome grill at the outdoor bar. Of course my husband has now added that same grill to his Christmas wish list. Thanks once again for the memories!

Have you tried to access Bluewater web site? Cannot do it. The house Sunseeker good kitchen. But . . . No clocks in the house, no chairs in the bedrooms, no written instructons for any electrical items you are going to use, nothing on the tvs. Wifi is iffy, internet stopped and no way to contact the company since there are no instructions. When the Internet went and so did the phone. No phone number for the the house when trying to get to the company. When unable to log on, were told to go to the modem but not where it was, then had to log on with a different cottage name. A coffee shop has better instructions. Way too many dusty, dirty fake plants. The maintenance personnel who came were professional and polite.
