Coolers are broken so all the drinks are warm. With the amount of money they overcharge for their food, you’d think everything would be running correctly. I got a bacon, sausage, egg and cheese sub and for some reason, that costs more than a steak and cheese sub. Weird. It was almost $24 for the sub and a bottle of water. That’s the negative, the prices. Everything else is fantastic. I feel like they put a whole package of bacon and Italian sausage on my sub. It was crazy and delicious. If you have someone to split it with, then I think it’s worth it but if you’re on your own, just get a hard roll.
Awesome food, great service, clean bathroom. Ordered Chicken Cutlet, mozzarella, lettuce, tomato, mayo and oil and vinegar
The roll was toasted to perfection, not too soft not too toasted, the cheese was melted ever so gooey, the egg was salt and peppered minimally but enough to still taste, the bacon was chewy, slightly crispy and had hints of maple, the sausage??? Bro. I can taste every seasoning they put in it, the texture and sautee was golden and every bite was an amalgamation of symphonies. it was so organized, the food came out within us sitting for like 5 minutes, the atmosphere felt homey and the people working there were so friendly and accommodating, best deli I've been to easily!

I have to say for a 12$ steak and cheese sub they are filled with meat and you will get full. They use top quality meats and build well portioned, delicious sandwiches. There is a variety to choose from. My family and I have been customers for over 30yrs now. the fire devastated the community because everyone in Fair Haven knows B&M has the best subs in CT! They have remodeled the store and still, the sandwiches Still exceed expectations! Its a family owned business I remember when the The owner Bobbys father use to be there. This establishment has been here in Fair Haven for 46yrs. I’ve been loving these subs since I was a kid! I have eaten from many many different places and even tried some of the most infamous Philly Cheese steaks… Philly don’t got nothing on B&M Delicatessen, I have to say…as a traveler, any time I come home to visit I must stop and get either a steak and cheese or the pastrami with mustard!! Perfect
Absolutely the worst sausage and egg i ever had. 1 egg and only god knows how old this sausage really is. It was so dry and rough i couldn’t even eat the whole thing mind you price on the menu said $6.25 and i was charged $8. I only gave 2 stars because they refunded me my money. I will never go back again.
Not many places slicing their own ribeye for cheese steaks anymore but they do here. The cheesesteak I had was perfect. Cooked fresh with sliced ribeye, American cheese, carmelized onions and on the right rolll. You get what you pay for folks. I’d put this up against any place in Philly. These are the kind of places you hope are around for another 50 years.
There's a reason these guys get very busy during lunch hours. Sandwiches are a little pricey, but large and delicious. They get a huge crowd from local laborers/construction crews. Those guys know where the good bang for your buck is in New Haven. I recommend a steak & cheese . Not sure what this location was like before it burned down, but since, the remodel was done well, inside is clean and plenty of seating. Good selection of beverages to accompany your meal.
I love B&M, grew up on it. The food is always great. The 3 stars are for the ridiculous pricing now. I reluctantly paid $26 for a steak sub and fries.
My first time going to the store order for sandwiches spend $44 and a coffee and their sandwiches is the best in Connecticut they're Philly cheesesteak the steak egg and cheese the sausage egg and cheese it was so stuff that I will never go to no other store again to order a sandwich I will go back to them I don't care if it's raining snowing I will go get their food it was worth the 44 and also it was real steak so I recommend them to other people I even ordered my dog a sandwich
