Hands down excellence… Tonight was the first night we have been able to get out together feeling like adults. These are the nights we will carry into memories. Thank you Board and You Bistro & Wine Bar. The atmosphere was great. You can tell they all love their job. And service was excellent. Taylor and Adam made our night extra special. And Zach the owner even came out to greet us. He was so welcoming. The food was AH-MAZING. Everything we ordered came out fresh and hot and perfectly cooked. This will not be our last visit here.
This has quickly become our go-to date night spot. With consistent quality for both food and drinks, not to mention the excellent service and atmosphere, we continue to be impressed. Their specials are always top notch and the scallops are a must have. We recently tried the mussels and can’t wait to get them again. We recommend Board and You to everyone!
The folks at Board and You always deliver a great experience. Food, service, and cocktails are top notch. The Buffalo Chicken Fritters appetizer is a must, probably my favorite thing on the menu. I usually try different entrees every time we go, the Caribbean Jerk Chicken was recommended tonight and was delicious. Love that the menu changes with the seasons, can’t wait try some of the other summer menu items.
There is a gem in Southern Indiana! The name is, Board and You Bistro and Wine Bar. We checked for restaurants in the area and we thought this one looked interesting. So glad we did. First of all, Stevie, our waitress- amazing. So friendly and caring. She was warm and welcoming and took care of us well. I have fish allergies and the chef, Aaron came out and assured me that everything will be taken care of. Nick, the manager was outstanding! He is the reason we will be coming back to New Albany. We’re already making plans to be back for my wife’s, birthday celebration. Zack, the owner even stopped by to speak to us. This is a place that I will recommend time and time again. Yes, I know I love customer service but the food and cocktails, was world class. P.S. best burger I’ve ever had! You’ve got to go.
We were attending a company Christmas party at this new-to-me spot. I was delightfully surprised to find a cozy little wine bar in the heart of downtown New Albany. They have charcuterie and a varied pub-style menu. The charcuterie tray was an ample and delightful appetizer which could have stood in for a light meal. I had the burger for my entree and it was delicious! Thick, juicy, flavorful and served with crispy shoestring fries. Dessert was peanut butter and jelly cheesecake which was creamy and decadent. Spirits, beer and a thoughtfully chosen wine list round out the experience. Service was friendly and efficient.
The food was amazing! The server was very nice and attentive and the owner was very nice and checked on us! You pay for what you get and it was all very good! Buffalo Chicken Fritters, Fish and Chips, Salmon with Brussel sprouts and Filet Mignon with mashed potatoes and asparagus with a sauce. Oh and strawberry cheesecake! Very delicious!
The hostesses and the waitress I had were pleasant. The food was great! I had the Cajun macaroni & cheese, fried cod, and pasta. The Mac and cheese was sooo good! The cod was fresh and light and delicious. The pasta was nice and cheesy and the bread was an added touch. Please go! You will not be disappointed!
If you haven't been to this restaurant, add this as a MUST on your bucket list. We had such a great experience, we visited twice in one week. Alex and Nick made us feel so welcomed and the food is the best!
Came here for date night. Our first time. The charcuterie & fromage was delicious. The bistro burger was dripping with grease. It was too much flavor and the fries were too salty. They never brought us napkins. When we asked for napkins, my husband was brought a microfiber cleaning towel and a black lap napkin. No napkin for me. We were also seated next to a garage door, so it was pretty chilly. It wasn't the best experience. Can't say we're gonna go back. To be clear..... I never said I didn't like the burger. There was too much flavor on one plate. Flavors should compliment each other. Also, I did ask multiple times for napkins. The business owner gave me a response that didn't satisfy my experience but was more so passive aggressive.
Great atmosphere, amazing food, fun drinks. Pro tip ask for the Salmon sandwich if you want something light - it's refreshing and a bit of taste bud heaven! Will be back for the chicken salad sandwich. Love that it is open to air on a sunny day. Great place
