Wife and I have been living here for almost 2 years and are in the process of moving so naturally we decided to go to a new restaurant. Not sure what took us so long as the food was delicious. Never been to a restaurant where my choice of bread could be pumpkin. Granted it's seasonal but still.

The place was very clean and they were very timely in checking in on us despite it being near closing when we were eating. Highly recommend.

It's usually good here. I usually enjoy the food and service. Today I came in and stood at the podium for about 15 minutes while there was nobody else waiting to be seated. The two waitresses were arguing about who should seat us. We were finally seated and I asked for a coffee and a water, she didn't bring me a water and was annoyed when I asked. The waitress also argued with me about what I wanted to order. Another lady walked in and waited to be seated for about 10 minutes. The manager walked out and got on to the two waitresses for not seating her as well as having all the tables dirty. The manager brought us our food and refilled our drinks. The food was pretty good. The manager made it better, but if you get Melanie for a server, just ask to change.

The manager was yelling at her employees In front of customers and our waitress decided it was professional to tell us about it in detail.....just really awkward. It took us about 45 minutes to get food, we didn't get the bread we ordered and the mac and cheese was cold when we got it. Not very professional and we won't be back. I'm giving it two stars because at least the burger and coleslaw I got and my husband's steak were good.

This visit was not a complete disaster. However, service did not meet the usual Bob Evans standards.  Portions were smaller than usual, waitresses were loud, cooks dropping dishes, and the room temp as too cold. We heard several guest complaining about the temp. My wife's and I travel a lot. BOB EVANS  it one of our favorite places to eat. For us this visit was not a pleasant one.
