Great food for a good price. The biscuits and gravy were excellent. The eggs were cooked well and exactly as I ordered. The customer service is top notch. Since Bob Evans Restaurants has been sold to the company that owns Red Lobster, quality and service has improved, and Bob's was great to begin with.

First of all I ordered the chicken tender kids meal, with mashed potatoes no gravy. When I picked it up I tipped the lady working carry out, well she was ungrateful and very rude I actually regret tipping her. Anyways when I get to school, I had french fries and not mashed potatoes? The French fries were cold and soggy. I even picked up the food the exact time they said it would be ready. I call back to let them know I didn’t get what I ordered, The same lady that took my money was on the phone being rude. I explained to her I could save the fries for later when I can come back, but I couldn’t because I had class. She told me that she would go ahead and make them and at 5 I can come pick it up ?? Mind you I ordered and called them back at 12:30. I don’t recommend getting carry out, I wouldn’t even rate this a 1.

South Charleston Bob Evans was pretty good today. I liked our waiter Thomas. He was very kind and professional. The hostess I think was just having a bad day. But everything else was tip top. The place was clean and neat.

Every time I go to Bob Evans is a great experience. So, when I went the last time and had the worst service ever... I thought I stepped into an alternative reality. The great part of this is that the Manger realized the issues and worked to make the experience as good as it could get. Though I was upset about the problem, the manger made it better and prevented me from never eating there again. I just recently went back and it's back to the service I am use to having.

The food is mediocre, very commercial. I am not a cook, yet I could do better. You can get the same quality in the freezer section at your local supermarket.
