Bobby Riggs Tennis Club & Museum
The Bobby Riggs Tennis Club & Museum is located in beautiful Encinitas, California in North County San Diego, just East of I-5 on 875 Santa Fe Drive. The club entrance is directly across the street from the San Dieguito Academy High School.
The club has a highly qualified staff of professional instructors year round. Junior Programs, Clinics, and private instruction for all ages and skill levels are all available to the public. Visit http://www.bobbyriggs.net/contact.html to make a request.
The public is welcome to take a lesson or visit the club at anytime however, booking a court is restricted to members and guest's. Expert stringing is available to anyone.
The Bobby Riggs Museum is also open to the public and includes exhibits of Bobby Riggs, Pancho Segura, Pancho Gonzalez, Jack Kramer, Billie Jean King, Martina Navratilova, and Margaret Court.
While visiting the club it is not unusual to find tennis legend Pancho Segura & friends having lunch while critiquing San Diego's best young players in training.
Visitors include champions Pancho Segura, Billie Jean King, Jimmy Connors, Tim Henman, Mark Philippoussis, Larry Stefanki, and Fernando Gonzales.
It was the home club to the late tennis great Bobby Riggs, whose 1973 exhibition against Billie Jean King made international headlines.
