Simply amazing! We had an amazing dinner on our last night in the city. We took the green street car from canal and it was only a short walk to the restaurant. We shared the large boil, and it was more than enough to feed 3 people. It was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend if you're looking for a tasty seafood boil. Our sever Sean was great, too!
I recently hit up Boil Seafood House in New Orleans, and let me tell you, it was quite the experience. I went for the garlic Parmesan and BBQ wings. Both were super tasty, and I’d easily give them a solid 4 out of 5. The only downside? They don’t let you order all flats or all drums, which was a bit of a bummer. Now, the real showstopper was the seafood feast that everyone else at my table ordered. They couldn’t stop raving about it and unanimously gave it a perfect 5 out of 5. The variety and freshness of the seafood were top-notch. If you’re a fan of seafood or wings, Boil Seafood House is a must-visit. The atmosphere is great, the food is fantastic, and it’s a spot you definitely don’t want to miss when you’re in New Orleans!
Delightful. Multiple flavor profiles to pick from and seafood types. We got the house boil with Cajun flavor in medium spice. It has a kick to it, if you don’t like the spicy salsa at your favorite Mexican restaurant, I would recommend going with mild here. Service was fast and friendly.Food: 5/5
For appetizer we had the alligator bites and it was cooked right and flavorful, we also ordered The Feast to shared between my two friends and I adding a few more potatoes and corn. It was delicious , I loved every single bite of it. The only downside was the meatless clams, we got only 2 with meat out of the bunch but still good. We had a great time there and Diana our server has a great attitude and customer service skills. Thank you guys, we'll be back again for sure, you gained three new customers.
The oysters were big, and the seasoning on the seafood was quite nice—not too salty. The cocktail on the menu was also tasty. At $9.99 per pound of crawfish, it's a pretty good deal. Vegetarian options: Caesar salad and side dishes only Parking: Street parking Wheelchair accessibility: Require assistance at the entrance
We were excited to eat here, but left disappointed. The atmosphere has a authentic Louisiana feel, however, the service leaves a lot to be desired. We ordered gumbo and etouffee and it lacked the most basic of seasoning. Unfortunately, we would not visit again.Food: 2/5
So impressed, omg. Small place inside a historic building located in the corner.. and comfortable. Windows overlooking the busy street & passers by. Clean with updated decor. Painted art on the walls that is peeling, but it gives it a great effect. The olympics was on & I enjoyed that. Small bar on sight. We were seated almost immediately. We ordered THE SHACK in spicy garlic butter, and in all honesty, by far the BEST seasoning we EVER had. It was so perfect! We LOVE SPICY SPICY & this seasoning wasn't that, but it was full of beautiful combined flavors with just enough kick. The shrimp, crab, corn, potato, and sausage were all boiled to perfection. My husband and I shared it and could not finish it. We also added 2 hardboiled eggs that were just so damn good! My husband had a gumbo, and it was a bit watery, not too much, but it was still great! That sausage, though!!! Ooh lawd it is so good! We are definitely visiting again when we come back!
The food was amazing!! My family and I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday and they were already quite busy. We ordered the bayou roll as an appetizer and let me tell you, it was delicious! The sauce that it’s served with was sweet, yet with a fiery kick. We ordered the seafood boils with crab, shrimp, and crawfish. We had the house seasoning and hot for our spice level. You could taste the mixture of flavors and all the garlic. I love garlic, so this was a dream for me. The corn, sausage and potatoes was all to die for as well. My father in law and brother in law had fried catfish and chicken poboy, which they loved as well. The portions were great and very filling! Hands down my favorite spot for a seafood boil in New Orleans!
We came to New Orleans to eat crawfish and this was great! The baskets were full and the service was awesome. The seasoning was unique and so delicious, maybe a little too oily at the bottom of the tray but not a reason to avoid it, just unexpected. Cocktails were delicious.Food: 5/5
It was a little strange. It seemed like a good place but half out mussels were closed. The waitress was totally overwhelmed and when we asked her questions she was irritated by us. She kept mentioning how awful the kitchen was and how they make a lot of mistakes?? The vibe was off. The food was mediocre.Food: 1/5
