Gerald was excellent in every aspect of selling our home. He was constantly in contact with us. His recommendations were all correct and we enjoyed working with him very much. His personal touch was appreciated and lead a quick closing and quick sale.

I never write reviews but I feel it is necessary to provide one for this real estate company so I can give fair warning to any potential buyers out there. My experience with this company has been very poor. After we put an offer in to buy a home, we had questions and concerns about both the property and the contracts to be signed. Our agent did not address our questions. He would say "I don't know but I'll find out for you" and would not follow through unless constantly reminded. He was flippant and acted like buying a house wasn't a big deal so our concerns weren't worth his time. We attempted to contact the broker, Kristin Hicks, in the hopes that she could give us the answers we weren't getting from our agent. We called multiple times during the month-long closing process and NOT ONCE did we get a call back. After getting burned in the initial offer because our agent didn't include certain contingency details, we had to progressively double check his work during the following negotiations. It was like we were doing his job for him. He did not care about us or care to pursue what was in our best interest. He encouraged us to take steps that would benefit the sellers rather than us. We had to fight with him to do the final walk through the same day as closing because (for some reason completely beyond me) he wanted us to do it a full two days prior to closing. We suspect either the selling agent was intimidating him or they were in cahoots to swindle us. I am so grateful we stood our ground because the sellers took several items of value that were included in the sale of the house. The whole situation would have become a mess if our agent had gotten his way. We had many stress filled days and sleepless nights dealing with this company and with the agent. By far the best part of closing on our home has been that we no longer have to work with Boise River Realty. Tread carefully if you choose to go with this company and if you do, DO NOT go with the lenders or house inspectors they'll suggest.
