The place is well decorated and pleasant, the negative side is that you come out smelling of food. The service was nice and good but a little scattered, drinks had to be ordered twice. Regarding the food, it was delicious, healthy, all the dishes were good, however, it is not the best I have ever eaten. The price is quite good, approximately $40 to $50 per person.
From the moment you walk through the door, you feel welcome and respected! The folks at Bombay Darbar do something that most restaurants in Miami fail to do: they treat you like a truly valued guest. Service is among the best, period. Food is fantastic as well. You can’t beat their traditional Indian dishes and flavors. I highly recommend the butter chicken and vegetable pakora. Prices are pretty reasonable for the quality of food too. This place is great for date night or for a family outing.
Absolutely Sublime. One of the best Indian meals I have ever had the pleasure of devouring. Even the delivery bag is impressive with its fabric handles & a thermal lining. I feel pampered. The food is absolutely devine and appears to have been made with love & talent. It has totally lived up to the spicy hot I requested, which is rarely the case from most other establishments. My order; Chicken Vindaloo,. chicken . Naan & samosas. All of these were cooked to perfection. I am beyond impressed. ***I highly recommend this restaurant to all those that expect, but moreover, appreciate excellent food. ***
We made reservations here for a work dinner. Arrived early 6pm and place was quiet and we were the only people there : once we left around 8 it was picking up but also a rainy night and a Wednesday. I noticed take out was insanely busy. Food and service was spectacular and food prepared quickly for our table of 9 - everything was fantastic Vegetarian options: Plenty of options Parking: Paid parking garage in building - nice bc it was raining and I didn’t have to go outside to get to the restaurant Kid-friendliness: Easy for kids - we saw a kids birthday and the staff went all out for her
All the food we ordered was really tasty. Aidan was our waiter and was great with the service. He explained the dishes and suggested some great options. Great ambience. Will definitely visit again.Food: 5/5
If you are in Coconut Grove and have an Indian food craving, this is the place to go. Traditional Asian specialties like Samosas, Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Biryani are available. There is a good relation price/quality. Service is very cordial and the ambiance is friendly. Highly recommended!Food: 4/5
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bombay, an Indian restaurant that left a lasting impression. The food was simply outstanding, and the ambiance of the place was nothing short of amazing. Bombay offered a delectable range of traditional Indian dishes, each prepared with a perfect blend of spices and flavors. From the aromatic curries to the freshly baked naan bread, the authenticity of the cuisine was unmistakable. It’s a culinary journey that’s not to be missed. The restaurant’s atmosphere was equally impressive. The decor and lighting created a warm and inviting setting, making it an ideal choice for various occasions. Whether it’s a cozy date night or a delightful evening with friends and family, Bombay provides the perfect backdrop for an enjoyable dining experience. However, what truly set Bombay apart was the exceptional service. The staff was not only attentive but also incredibly kind, making us feel right at home. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to assist with any queries was much appreciated. Furthermore, the food arrived promptly, ensuring that we didn’t have to wait long to savor the delicious dishes. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Bombay to anyone in search of an authentic and delightful culinary adventure. The combination of exceptional food, a charming atmosphere, and top-tier service makes this restaurant a standout. I eagerly look forward to returning to Bombay to explore more of their mouthwatering offerings.
Our server name is Gviller. He’s so friendly and gives us excellent service. Restaurant smells good and fresh. Food is marvelous and fantastic Must go on Vegetarian options: Vegetarian biryani
Am a huge fan of Indian food. Two friends told me Bombay Darbar does it best in Miami. They were not wrong. Delicious food : courteous, knowledgeable and fast service. You can tell from the smell of the place as you walk in that the food here is going to be very good. We ordered and immediately a tray of fried papadums with two sauces - mint and a tomato chutney - was placed in front of us. All very tasty. For mains, I had spinach / paneer which came with white rice. My wife had chicken tikka cubes of well marinated chicken on a hot plate and we shared a plain naan. The palak paneer was the least impressive dish. Something was missing from their recipe. But still good. The naan was tasty yet not at all oily. My wife loved the chicken. The service by Zulfi was top drawer. Friendly and always on hand when needed. Definitely far better service than I’ve come to expect in Miami. The location is on a quiet street not far from CocoWalk. There is indoor / outdoor and terrace in between seating. I recc the terrace if the music belting on their sound system is too loud for you. Definitely my go-to place for Indian food. Next time will try their dal makhani.
Excellent food. Excellent ambience. Awesome service. Definitely recommend this restaurant, even though it is a little far from Miami downtown.Food: 5/5
