The food and service was amazing. We decided last minute to eat here so there were no reservations left, but we got there when they opened and were able to sit right at the bar. The owner Chris was the bartender and he made a perfect martini. He was extremely accommodating, personable, and grateful for our business, our food came out fast and was all delicious, and the hostess was friendly. I don't know how you could give this restaurant a bad review unless you were like the rude people next to us who were complaining that their table was upstairs even though they didn't request one downstairs and everyone sitting down there had. They were obnoxiously arrogant and thought that just because they had been there several times they could get whatever they wanted. Apparently everyone else had been there several times as well, besides us, and knew how to make a reservation. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Ouray

After looking at the menu and prices i expected great service and excellent food. Both of which did not happen. Not to mention wait time for everything was unacceptable. From getting a menu to water. What a shame. Waste of my money and time. Extremely disappointed in the entire experience.

We had a reservation for four at Bon Ton. The hostess didn't look up from her reservation book for minutes. When she did there was no warmth of welcome. We didn't like our booth, so we asked for a table for four in the same room. She walked away without a word...I followed her because I wasn't sure what to do. She said, "were movIng you to another room". The other room looks like a Waffle Lady restaurant from the '70s. I ordered a steak, which normally comes with mashed potatoes and green beans. I asked for a replacement vegetable instead of potatoes. "Sorry, we only have green beans". Really? The menu shows spinach in one dish, sun dried tomatoes in another, and mushrooms in others. No personality, no "let me see what I can do!". Food? It was good. Service and ambiance? Zero. There is a place down the street we love. Won't be back to Bon Ton this century.

Went there for an Anniversary Dinner and was treated like royalty. Had the Salmon appetizer which was scrumptious. Very creative house salad with low salt and high flavor. Full Picatta Perfection with pork medalions. Chocolate Bread Pudding just cuz.
