Great pub style food, drinks, service and ambiance. As you can see from the pictures, you won’t go hungry if you want to munch on something. The burgers have a juicy patty and it’s made to your liking. You can tell it’s fresh and not frozen when you bite into it. The fries are good and not soggy. I do recommend this spot. Parking: Metered parking depending on what time you arrive.
Yesterday at 8 pm, we arrived for a reservation and had the worst dining experience imaginable. It wasn't the fault of any single person, but it was extremely disheartening as we were there to celebrate my friend's birthday, and he was really looking forward to dining here he loves BBQ. We placed our order promptly upon arriving, but our food did not arrive for over 45 minutes. When it finally did, it was neither warm nor appetizing. We ended up requesting to leave without eating, which felt like a complete waste of our time. I'm not writing this to be rude, but to inform whoever manages this location that your operations are faulty. Several people sat, ate, and left in the time we waited for our meal. This was incredibly disappointing, and my friend's birthday dinner was ruined. I advise anyone considering dining here for the first time to look elsewhere. The employees seemed apathetic to our situation and annoyed when we didn't want to eat a subpar meal. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. LA is full of amazing restaurants, but this is not one of them. For the price, you can find far better options. Needless to say, we will never return.
Great service and food. Brisket was really good and side of potato salad hit the spot. Great Bloody Mary as well. Don’t forget the banana pudding.Food: 5/5
Food was great. Our server was great. The short female who sat us to our high top table was below average. When we requested another table she frowned on that. She eventually led us to an open table while saying we had to vacate that table in an hour or so. Bad service ftom this forgettable-looking female with poor service. This place thinks it's some 5-star Michelin when it's not. Won't come back, we don't recommend.
The service was non existence. Waitress came out seemed friendly enough even made sure recipes fit an allergy intolerance. After that came back asking us to refill water and maybe another drink but never came back with anything. Took us at lest 45 to get the bill and still had to hunt her down to pay it. Should have just walked out like f you. The food way over priced. I got the big BBQ potato which had a pinch of meat no jalapeños which it was suppose to have on there and the potato was just standard size with a small end piece of corn on the cob...that was 25 bucks. Not worth it. Don't waste your time with the food. Drinks were the only thing that was good. Though pretty sure they are using well whiskey because already my head has a bit of an ache and only well does that to me. Their portions are not big at all. The others at my table said the same. Don't go to this place. Don't waste your money.
We came here about 10 years ago and loved it. Passing through the area again, we decided to see if the magic was still there. It did not disappoint. Bekah, our server, was exceptional. I had had the Paso tri-tip sandwich and it was, without hesitation, the most tender, perfectly cooked tri-tip sandwich I've ever had and the fries were on point. See attached photo of my plate. My wife's birria tacos were also delicious. The cocktails were very good, but could use a touch more balance. All in all, I can't wait to pass through the area again and dine here again.
This place is legit. The staff was great, drinks were unique and tasty hard to get right these days and the food was freakin awesome. Brisket was on point, the sausage was soft and tender, pulled pork done without being crazy salty like some of the others I've had recently. BBQ sauce! It didn't really need any, but I had to try that, too. Thumbs up across the board!
One of mine and my fiancés favorite spots! There is always new things on the menu! Staff is always kind and the food is always top notch! Drinks are fresh and delicious! Love bringing out of towners here! Honestly I haven’t tried anything here i didn’t like!Food: 5/5
I've been here twice and have only been mildly satisfied. The pork BBQ ribs are flavorless and tough. There are better BBQ place that are cheaper. I hate writing this review because I understand how difficult it is to be a successful small business. I'm hoping that my review gets to the owner changes can be made so that this place can become better. Would love to have a BBQ place to frequent near my home.
REALLY ENJOYED a birthday dinner here! Highly recommend the newly renovated back patio. We were a party of 8 that ordered the mini-mega which said it feeds 4-8, but felt it could have fed 12! There was SOOO much food. My favorites were the baby back ribs and the beef ribs, but loved it all! The fried mac n' cheese bites were INSANE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
