I shopped there about 20 years ago for a wedding, and I'm so exited that they are still there! I'll be back next April for a dress for my granddaughter's wedding!!!

Super friendly staff, great selection, many items are made in America! Fun stuff you aren't going to find at the big box stores!

I went to this place yesterday with my mother, and the lady was rude and obnoxious. She told us we were looking at the wrong sizes and to move to the other section, without knowing what we were looking for. Pretty much we were told that we cannot look around the store. I will definately tell anyone I know not to ever step foot inside. Stay away. If you like to get yelled at then go ahead and go.

Don't bother with this shop is you're looking for a prom dress. They do extreme false advertising on their website. Employees are rude and apathetic about customers

I was so excited to go to this store after being told of the selection, so I drove 50 miles to the store. I found a dress, was told to call before I come down on a night they were open late to make sure the seamstress would be there. I called on Wed. talked to head seamstress, was told that Margerite works late on Thurs. She asked me what time I would be there. I told her I get off work at 4:30, depending on the traffic at that time I should be there 5:30-6:00 pm. Everything was fine she would be there. I called back 2 hours later talked to the manager, wanted to check how long alterations take, I needed the dress in 7 days. No problem, they will get it done for you, just tell them what day & they will make sure it is done, she said asked when & what day I was coming, great Margerite would be there. I walked in at 6:10pm. The store closes at 8pm. Guess what?? SHE WENT HOME AT 6:00PM!!! I made the hour and a half trip one way for NOTHING!! Got an apology from Elizabeth who I bought the $600.00 dress from. Said she will talk to the manager on Friday, will talk to her about the alteration charges, especially because I was a first time customer and I did exactly as she told me, Elizabeth said this should not have happened.. She asked me to come back on Saturday at 10am when they open and she will make sure everything will be taken care of me. Got back in the car & finally got to my home at 8:00pm On Saturday my daughter & I got in the car early, drove all the way to Niles. (1 1/2 hours) Was greeted by Elizabeth, she got my dress, asked if I had my shoes, & then I asked her if they were going to charge me for the alterations. "oh yes, of course" EXCUSE ME???..after what happened just 2 days ago & what you told me, did you talk to the manager, like you said?? Yes she is sorry but she does not know what she can do, maybe they will take $10.00 off? ARE YOU SERIOUS?? Yes there is nothing they can do..I told her to bag the dress I will find some one else to do it. She said ok like it was no big deal. she got her commission, So I took a $600 dress home that is missing the detachable straps & some beading, that they said they would fix. I can not return the dress or exchange it, which is clearly on their receipt. They already have my money, I can not get it back.. I have 5 days now to find someone to take care of my alterations. I will NEVER EVER recommend this store & will caution people about going to them..IT IS NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!
