My child attended all three years of elementary school at Bonner and we LOVED the staff (assistants, teachers and principal). I've never encountered such involved and friendly staff. The principal makes himself approachable to the students and parents by being a VISIBLE and INVOLVED part of his school. He doesn't hide in his office. I'm offended reading some of the prior comments shaming him for eating lunches with students. The students at Bonner loved the fact that their principal was so cool he'd take time to eat with them. Boys and GIRLS! Also offended by some of the things that were implied by this dad's written story...you don't try to ruin a reputation especially of a father with implying things that are simply non factual. As a dad himself he should know better. From attending school events, to welcoming kids to school in the mornings rain, snow or shine, eating lunches with the students, and many more unselfish act, etc., this principal rises above many. My child absolutely respected him and thought he was an amazing principal. I have no complaints and would HIGHLY recommend Bonner to any parent. The education curriculum is top notch and so are the teachers. I have no doubt my daughter has benefited from attending Stewartville Schools.

What is the purpose of a school? What will you teach? Well this school teaches humiliation, and senseless disregard for children. You are shameful and cruel.
