Played Bonneville Golf course in Salt Lake city while visiting my son who is in Utah for the summer.  Greens fees, Premium Club rental and a cart were under $80 for the two of us on a weekend afternoon which I thought was very fair.  Course was in nice shape for a city owned course with nice greens and well watered fairways.  Great views of the mountains which might be nothing special for the locals but were distracting (in a good way) for a visitor from the east coast.

The product seemed a lot better 10 or even 20 years ago. You will be happy if you run into Abe. The rest of the staff over the years have turned a little sour. The course it self is great even though they are trying to charge more for a product that was a lot better when I was frowning up 15-20 years ago. I have had the same experience with Greg Cayais as a lot of people. I used to stick up for him and give him the benefit of the doubt but too many experiences and so many others just don't like the guy because of the interactions and comments he has  made. It makes  me rethink even going up there. When I think golf Bonneville doesn't even come to mind. Too bad since it was such a sacred place for me growing up. I hope he can turn it around and start treating others like he would like to be treated.

Bonneville seems a little over priced for what it is, but is always busy so I guess they must have it priced right for the location.  I enjoy the course and it's always in good shape.  My favorite holes are #'s 1, 5, 6, 9, 11, 18.  Walking this course is a little more exercise than the average Salt Lake course.

Amazing course. Definitely one of the better public courses anywhere!

Although the club house / pro shop is a 3, I'm giving the course a 5.  This is one beautiful, scenic, architecturally pleasing golf course!  And it is a muni!   From out of town but if I lived here it would be my home course.
