This is a nice quiet and nature-filled oasis just outside of the ridiculous chaos of Vegas. I absolutely LOVED going on their one hour horse ride around the red rock canyon. It's not cheap but so incredibly worth it. The views and vegetation are mind blowing. Since the sun is pretty hidden early in the afternoon, it makes for the best riding conditions- cooler temperature and no sun blaring in your eyes. They also have a little zoo with all sorts of different animals from around the world, some of which you can pet or feed. To access the zoo, shops, and little skits they put on, it is $10 per person. I could have skipped the skits; they were kind of dumb. The "wax museum" was also a joke. It would also behoove them to have their shops accessible to people who choose not to do the $10 add-on option. They are really in desperate need of some updating and improvements.

Would not trust these people. Do not risk losing your money. Myself and two other friends were picked up by a man who complained and talked trash about his customers. When we arrived after being in the car for an hour, after being told it would be only 30 minutes, they tried to prevent us from going to the restroom. When we caught up with the group, they accused me of being pregnant and refused to allow any of us to ride. After my friends had asked about one of the liability releases we were directed to sign, they made the assumption we were pregnant. When we asked why being pregnant would be an issue; it was assumed we were pregnant. When I️ offered to take a pregnancy test to prove I️ wasn’t pregnant, they still refused to allow us to ride. They kept our money even though they refused to allow us to ride, even though they were only accusing me of being pregnant. Having a disability that may not allow me to have children, I️ found this event to be traumatizing. I️ never said I️ was pregnant and I️ signed their releases. They refused to give me a copy of the release. Unfortunately, my friends and I️ may have to take these thieves to small claims court. They unreasonably walked away from us at the Bonnie Ranch without offering us any explanation. The owner of Bonnie Ranch, April, is an abusive old woman who won’t listen to common sense. Even when it’s being said in a calm manner. Bonnie Ranch is not Wild West, however, Wild West is a thief because they are the third party that takes your money and then blames Bonnie Ranch for everything. Wild West contracted with Bonnie Ranch and me and my friends so they should give us our money back. We were disrespected and deserted. We were not allowed or given service so our money should be returned. It’s the right thing to do.

This motel is quaint with it's themed rooms. Ours had an eagle theme. The bed was very comfortable and the room was well stocked with plenty of towels (high quality too). They have a small coffee maker and enough supplies for 8 cups of coffee. Enjoyable stay!

The petting zoo was fun and the wax museum was interesting, but half the buildings were closed. Apparently the train only runs certain days as well, which was not specified in the website. I was also disappointed and felt that the venue tried too hard to blend adult entertainment with family-friendly fun. The restaurant/saloon had portraits of completely nude women. There are hanging dummies in the middle of town. There is a melodrama with crude humor but thankfully that went over my children's heads. The restaurant only send to be open certain hours (wasn't serving food there entire time we were there) but you can't bring your own food and picnic there. The staff was great, very friendly and fun to talk to since they stayed in character the whole time. But there just wasn't enough to do and there was too much adult junk to make it truly a family event. I'd only go back for the petting zoo and we can find that somewhere cheaper.

Still one of my favorite places. So beautiful and peaceful out there. Old western town. They even have a skit enacting the old wild West.
