Girlfriend went here to sell them some books. They rattled off their policy faster than she could keep up. She wandered the store while they tallied the worth and when she came back another staff member told her that because she didn't specify beforehand that she wanted cash, that they would only do store credit. She asked about retrieving her property and the guy said no, they didn't know which books were hers. Wouldn't​ have been difficult to figure out though, there was only one other customer in the entire store that time of day. Not only that, shouldn't they be able to just recalculate how much cash $25 of store credit would be worth? The staff member was being very rude and overly defensive from the way she described her experience. They also don't give a receipt for store credit, they just assure you that they entered your name in the system (good luck if you have a common name).
I went there later with her to pick out some books to use up the store credit on. That's when we found out that you can only use store credit on used books and ones that haven't been released any time recently. Not only that, but they only use store credit to cover half of your purchase! My girlfriend was forced to pick out books she wasn't super interested in, and her overall experience was so bad that she doesn't even want to return there to use up the rest of her store credit. She basically gave away a pile of books for the right to still pay out of pocket for a few books she didn't really want.

Don't shop here.

This has been my go to bookstore for at least the last ten years.  Great place to trade books in.  They keep getting bigger and bigger.

Me and my friend went in to check out their new location.The staff asked us numerous times if we needed help. We even got to talk to the owner for a few minutes. You can't do that at a large chain bookstore.They have a great selection of books and movies.

Best book store for local authors yet. Stocking my book Rekindled at the local author shelf by front door. Friendly place for authors to hang -- authors allowed to keep 100% of earnings from books they sit in front of the store and personally sell! Large selection, comfortable couch.
