They are now hiring people that will fraudulently use your payment information to sign you up for magazines (who buys magazines anymore?). You will get a mysterious charge on your account and will need to follow up with their third-party magazine merchant so that they may issue a payment reversal. I've been going through this headache with this third-party source for approximately 3 weeks now. I just got off the phone with yet ANOTHER rude customer service representative (I've spoken to 3 others along with a supervisor thus far) so that they can refund the ENTIRE amount that they charged me. If they do not honor me the refund that they've already told me they'd issue (the same one I am still waiting for) I am going to report it as fraud with my bank. Barnes & Noble will be receiving my business from now on because they do not practice deceptive selling tactics when I purchase merchandise from their store. If this issue of fraud becomes an even larger issue I'll be contacting their corporate office.

Staff are nice, and they have a excellent magazine selection. But they lack comfortable seating of any kind, so I've never even bothered looking at their books. I prefer to preview a book comfortably before I buy.
