Borderland is the former estate of Oakes and Blanche Ames. Encompassing nearly 1,800 acres of pristine lands that include forests, wetlands, ponds, carriageways, farmhouses, a stone mansion, fields, and meadows, Borderland is an outdoor and history enthusiast's dream. The Friends and the Mass. DCR maintain a busy schedule of free programs and activities throughout the year.
