When I booked this moving company, they did not properly quote me on the amount of stuff we had, the number of movers to send, or size of the truck. The receptionist scoffed at me and told me "No one has problems with a 26 foot truck". Lo and behold, on moving day, our stuff wouldn't fit in the truck. They only sent 2 guys, who were both upset because they realized there should have been more help. We had to pay for a UHaul, last minute, and drive an hour to get it since we didn't reserve one (why would we, if we paid for movers?!). They quoted us $500, but the bill was $900. We asked them to pay for our UHaul, and they argued that it wasn't their fault. The owner, Mark, dodged my calls and ignored my emails for weeks before I finally got ahold of him and basically told him to give us a reimbursement for the UHaul. Honestly, I don't even think we should have had to pay the full bill....but I just wanted to get it over with, as they are very difficult to work with.

I saw this truck driving like a maniac on haggerty yesterday. Tailgating a car in front of it at a dangerous distance with stopped traffic in the next lane. Cut off traffic from the right lane while driving dangerously fast and tailgating. I can only imagine the damage the driving does to belongings. Seeing that was enough for me to never use them. When you drive like that, and advertise your business on your vehicle? No thanks.

The team of 3 consisted of 2 big men and one smaller gentleman. There was one gentleman who came out and worked like a bull, I think his name was AJ, while the other big man, can't remember his name, was a complete a**hole, and the tiny gentleman struggled with most of the items he carried which resulted in numerous scratched items. During the move some of our furniture was dropped and scratched, while one of our crates was dropped from the truck and most of the items in the crate were broken. Instead of apologizing for breaking the crate, the gentleman in charge of the team, who was a complete a**hole, blamed us for making the crate too heavy and criticizing our choice of the crate. Rather he should have been apologizing since the drop was avoidable if they correctly secured the crate when lowering it. Afterwards he said the owner would get in contact with me to compensate us for the broken items, but we never received that call. I would stay away due to the lack of customer service. STAY AWAY

The men performing the move were nice and did a good job but the company needs help. Double the men and twice the length of time cause the final bill to be 3 times the amount estimated. Mark the owner came out and reviewed the move to location stating he would look into it. He has been ducking my calls since only calling back late once leaving a message stating he will call back but never did. Nothing but a run around for a giant bill and not taking care of broken items. Beware. Go somewhere else.

I got a quote from Thumbtack for my move from Bos and the price was very good compared to Two Men and a Truck. They were able to meet my timing, and overall the experience was very good. The guys they sent were a little late but the office asked them to call me and they did. We were able to coordinate while I was still able to pick up my son from school on time. They were very nice and did exactly what I asked. They were very careful with my things, and even took apart my sofa and put it back together quickly and correctly at no additional charge. None of my things were damaged, and they were very fast and polite. 

They finished one hour early, and I was only charged for the time that they actually worked. Everything was great and I would definitely use them again, and highly recommend them.
