Amazing experience. I decided to have lunch here while visiting Boston and was pleasantly surprised by the warm hospitality of the staff. To make things even better, the food was cooked perfectly and tasted authentic - having had the same thing in Istanbul. Chicken Wings, Rice, Salad, and the bread were all very delicious. The ambiance was cozy and the decor was right on point. Highly recommend trying them out.
Wow, top notch. Authentic, all made to order fresh. Loved everything about it. Casual atmosphere and comfortable......felt at home style without traveling. Pleasant ownership and employees. Will go back many times! I hope to order catering for holidays from there too. Priced really well too.Food: 5/5
Mar 2024: Cute little spot that has a lot of options, seems to be authentically Turkish. Our server was quite forgetful but the food made up for it. Couple things: bathroom needs a code, water only for purchase, tight seating arrangement.
Boston Donor is an extraordinary culinary jewel, bringing a delightful twist to the classic doner kebab experience. The moment you enter, you’re greeted with an ambiance that’s both cheerful and inviting, a perfect backdrop for a food adventure. The vibrant, bustling atmosphere is infectious, making Boston Donor not just a place to eat, but a place to be seen and enjoy. With its lively vibe and friendly staff, it’s an ideal spot for anyone looking for a fun, casual dining experience in the heart of the city. What sets Boston Donor apart is their exceptional take on the traditional doner kebab. The flavors are bold and authentic, with each dish prepared using only the freshest ingredients. The menu offers a variety of options, catering to all tastes and preferences, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, a visit to Boston Donor is a must for a taste of culinary bliss, wrapped up in a warm, joyful atmosphere.
The food is as delicious as the food in Turkey. I recommend iskender kebab and lahmacun. Ayran should definitely be drunk as a drink. I was also satisfied with the service. In general, it is a place I would prefer in Boston. However, you may have parking problems when you come by car.Food: 5/5
I went here recently to try Turkish delicacies. I tried Baklava, Pistachio Roll, Kunefe and Turkish tea. Everything was just perfect. The service is slow. I will be back to try other items on their menu. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in trying Turkish cuisine. Parking: There is paid parking on the road right to the restaurant. I went after 9 pm and the parking was free.
Delicious authentic Turkish cuisine in the heart of Boston. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts was amazing! We ordered the mixed grill platter and felt like we were transported to Istanbul! Super tasty, cooked to perfection. Don’t forget the pistachio kunefe dessert, it was delectable and a must if you’re looking for something sweet towards the end. Thank you to the owner for an unforgettable experience!
Cozy restaurant with friendly service. I ordered food to go and got the Lamacun Turkish pizza and the Doner sandwich on house made bread. Both were delicious. I even ordered some and told them I was taking it on the plane, so they wrapped it in foil instead of the takeout container which made it easy to put into my carry on. Love that they are open late and right next to the stadium and the citizen M hotel.
Great spot to try authentic Turkish cuisine. With a sprawl of typical American restaurants and sports bars in West End, Boston Doner stands out with its authentic Turkish flavors. I recently stopped by before a game at the Garden and had a great experience. Paired with their freshly baked, piping hot bread, Baba Ganoush made a satisfying combo to start off the meal. With a touch of olive oil drizzled atop, it was simple yet perfectly creamy. While I've tasted versions with a bolder smoky hint elsewhere, Boston Doner's version leaned towards a light, velvety texture. Adana Kebab was also enjoyable with its soft and expertly seasoned minced meats. It still retained an inviting smokiness, which went well with the rice and salads. What really elevated the experience, though, was the attentive and passionate staff. For Turkish cuisine newbies, they are your culinary compass. From suggesting the ideal sauces to recommending traditional drinks, their insights really helped. The sweet finale, the Kunefe, was a perfection. These thinly layered crispy cheese pastries soaked up generous amounts of sweet syrup. With a scoop of Turkish ice cream, known for its unique chewy consistency, it was a dessert that’s both rich and refreshingly different.
Got charged 30 bucks for a wrap, baclava, and a bottle of water. The price does not represent the quality of the food either. The doner was pretty bland and chewy compared to other doner around town for half the price. It's only saving grace is they're open somewhat late near north Station. If you dont care about price its probably fine.
