super interesting, unique, special, only in Boston ! All the gentlemen in red shirts are volunteers who keep the museum, all are very helpful,knowledgeable, and willing to talk to you and answer all your questions about the history of Boston Fire Department, fire history, and the antique fire equipment in the museum as well as all the new fire trucks in use today. They are also patient with the many ill behaved children who have not been taught manners by their parents.

Didn't even know that this existed! Went for a childs birthday party ( they rent out the upstairs ). Really cool historical pieces! Worth a check if you are walking through the area!
