I go to school in the Boston public school district and this is the 3rd day that I've had to skip lunch because I can't eat cheese. We need OPTIONS. Changes need to be made because I am not the only one! Almost half he students in my class skip lunch almost every day because of one reason or another. A few more options for food is a small price to pay for your future doctors, veterinarians, police officers, and more so let's feed them 🙃

This district is the one who makes or start to change kids into adults and turns them into their dream and its better than another district can do.You people should be proud to have your kids dreams come true.

Behavior challenges throughout the whole district.Focus on children is a BIG joke. As a former teacher in this district- No support from administration. Parents are Not aware of what is going on in the classrooms. It is very SAD. My nephew recently moved back to Boston and was placed in an "inclusion" classroom. Within 1 month he was bullied verbally and physically assaulted 2 times in the bathroom. The warning signs were evident- before the physical assault my sister could Not move him to another school until he was physically assaulted due to the school departments policy. Thank God his injuries were not severe. He is now at Boston Latin School and doing great. This is the only good school in the district. The rest should be closed down. SEND YOUR KIDS TO PRIVATE SCHOOL or Charter School or stay out of Boston. IT IS ALL POLITICAL. VERY VERY SAD.

I am very upset, I should of kept my daughter in daycare. I had to stop working and find a overnight job. This school year I sign my daughter in the BPS for pre-k. First time I'd sign her did it too late and they told me if I give it another try earlier she will get into pre-k. Only thing I didn't know that they don't prioritize the kids with schools at a walking distance. The lady who did the test with my daughter, told me that seens I was doing the sign up early she will get a school close to the house. Now this year my daughter attends to MJP school in South Boston. When we live in south end. I'd have no one in Boston to drop or pick up my daughter at school so I could get to work. Having her go to a school that is far makes it harder for me.
