Sure the employees are surly and the hours aren't the best, and you should probably avoid talking to them over the phone if possible, but the Boulder County Clerk & Recorder is definitely not the worst government-run entity in Boulder. The DMV in that abandoned mall in North Boulder has much longer lines at least.
