What a great time! I was a guest and had a great time playing this beautifully laid out course. Amy Pollack, the golf pro, and her team in the shop were fantastic. I was able to get rental clubs easily, a small bucket of balls and they let me know when I could tee off. The course is beautiful, the weather was perfect in the high 50s and climbing 72 @ the end of the round. The tee boxes are well marked, well maintained, course staff was out grooming and cognizant of folks teeing off and they would make way and have small talk with you to make you feel welcomed . The greens are SUPER FAST so it took some adjusting. At the end of the round I was greeted warmly by the staff as I returned my clubs and the cart. I then went to the restaurant and had the burger basket well priced, fries and coleslaw too. Sat at the bar enjoyed the British Open while I ate. Then one of the shop staff came in to remind me I had left my ID in the shop had to leave it to rent clubs, great Taylor Made clubs too! All in all it was a great day! Well worth the time to play this course! Hope to come back next year!
Apathetic and unprofessional in the pro shop. Eight-some in jeans teeing off on the front and wouldn’t let a twosome go off on a wide open back. Right on! The course isn’t good enough to pay their prices and deal with their BS. Thanks. You've made it easy for me to check you off my list of courses to consider playing at in West MI.
Course was in great shape. Practice area was large enough for the few out of forty of us to warm up. Service before and after the outing was very good.
Great course, the greens are appropriate fast and the ball follows your read. Beautiful fall golf day with the scenery. The restaurant has a good selection. Had the salmon dinner and it was cooked properly and the sides were delicious.
I rarely leave reviews, so you know it’s bad when I do….. AWFUL Customer Service — course is nice, great shape — my guy Carson at the front needs a BIG lesson in customer service, check the attitude my friend. First time at the course, 3 hour front = 6+ hour round — there was an outing, fine, pace of play is slow…. No notice on the outing when booking, no notice on the outing when checking in, and my guy acted surprised when I came to the front for a credit……? Made it seem like me being a single was the issue, but that math doesn’t math — how does me being a single change a 3 hour front? 3 hours is 3 hours….. Put a smile on your face, apologize for the inconvenience whether due or not, issue a rain check and move on with your life — Carson wanted confrontation, took some pleasure in having a dispute with me like a child. Dismissive at check in, dismissive when returning — couldn’t care less about the money, customer service and experience over EVERYTHING.
Excellent golf course with great staff! It has a challenging but beautiful layout from the back tees, and it offers fair and receptive landing areas. The course has some of the best par 3s I have played, with one being 235 yards into a protected green. I am adding Boulder Creek to my must-play list annually.
I love this course. I am playing in my first ever league this year and its been great. If I have to be critical of something. I wish the tee boxes were more level and the greens are very difficult but well kept for the most part.
Absolutely stunning golf course. The course is laid out so that it accommodates golfers of any skill level. Will definitely play again next time I'm in the area.
Great course that feels like you get two for one. The front nine gives you the "up north" through the trees, hills and valleys...the back nine brings you out in the open...links style. It was still looking in top shape even in the last days of the season.
Nice course. Grand Rapids has several nice tracks. Boulder Creek is on of the better especially for the price. Very playable. Generous landing areas allow you to be comfortable on the tee box. Not to say there were no problems. Lots of uneven lies to test your game. Good fairways. Greens were good.
