A great place to gather with friends.

In the 90s this was the place to be. The campgrounds were pretty full with regulars and everyone was very friendly. Now everyone has sold and left. For the last 10 years this place has really gone down hill. Rent for your lot keeps going up (one of few reasons people left), all the lots on the water have lost their private dock. Most trailors had built their own dock, and had room to sit and fish off the dock, or even sun tan. Now the only docks you see are only a straight shot with boats up and down both sides (and they charge you for a space on the dock). Good luck trying to fish! Definitely can't have more then one person fishing at a time. It's really a shame what Jack has done to the area. It's so empty and it's all open space since they cut so many trees down. Lots have no privacy. Jack and his kids have ran this place into the ground. Renters can't even find someone to take over leases. Jack keeps pulling trailors out bc people just say screw the place. I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here! Your better off going across the lake!

Not "real" camping. Sites were meant more for trailers and RVs than for tenters. Sites didn't offer much privacy. Outhouses were yucky! No good place to swim or fish. Nice boat launch area. Clean bar with friendly staff, arcade room and additional restrooms. The bar restrooms were very clean and had clean showers. Overall, just okay.
