Four of us met at 1:00 for lunch, and the popularity of the place was clear from the big crowd of happy diners and the energetic, upbeat atmosphere. We were seated in about 15 minutes, and our server arrived quickly. I ordered the Bouldin Creek Bowl ?, which could also have been called Pad Thai plus carrots and broccoli. It was delicious! Breakfast is served all day, and so many items sounded delicious that I’ll definitely be back. I am not a vegetarian and never thought I would choose to go to a veg restaurant, but Bouldin Creek is different. How refreshing to have one whose menu and flavors aren’t all garlic garlic garlic! Parking: The restaurant does have a parking lot, but it was jam packed. I drove about 3 blocks down and finally found a spot on the street. Be prepared for this if you are in a time crunch.
I'm thrilled to share my exceptional experience at Bouldin Creek Cafe, a hidden gem in Austin that has left a lasting impression on my taste buds. As a self-proclaimed veggie burger connoisseur, I've had the pleasure of trying some of the best veggie burgers in the country, but Bouldin Creek Cafe's version is a serious contender for the top spot. Hands down, Houston's/Hillstone's has been my go-to spot for the best veggie burger in the world, but Bouldin Creek Cafe is officially giving them a run for their money. The veggie burger at Bouldin Creek Cafe is a masterclass in flavor and texture, with a perfectly cooked patty that's both juicy and crispy. The bun is soft and slightly sweet, and the toppings are fresh and expertly prepared. What truly sets Bouldin Creek Cafe's veggie burger apart, however, is its commitment to using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. You can taste the difference in every bite, from the freshness of the lettuce to the richness of the avocado. The patty itself is made with a blend of black beans, quinoa, and vegetables, and is seasoned to perfection with a blend of spices and herbs. I was also impressed by the portion size, which was generous and filling without being overwhelming. The prices were also very reasonable, making Bouldin Creek Cafe a great value for the quality and quantity of food you receive. But what truly makes Bouldin Creek Cafe stand out is its commitment to sustainability and community. The cafe is powered by solar energy, and the staff is passionate about reducing waste and promoting eco-friendly practices. The atmosphere is also warm and welcoming, with a cozy patio area that's perfect for a relaxing meal or a casual gathering with friends. Overall, I would highly recommend Bouldin Creek Cafe to anyone looking for a delicious and sustainable meal in Austin. The veggie burger is a must-try, and the cafe's commitment to community and sustainability makes it a truly special place. A DIETARY RESTRICTIONS DREAM! we were recommended this place from a friend for a must-eat breakfast spot in Austin! almost everything has a vegan option and gluten free option! I got the oven cake breakfast with a side of potato hash cake. DELICIOUS!!! Dietary restrictions: Almost everything has a gluten free option! WOOHOOO!!
Fantastic vegan breakfast. The scramble is one of the best I’ve had and the coffee was also great. Tried the gluten free vegan burger to go as well, which was much better than the super processed meat alternatives you often find at restaurants. The manager was super nice and the outdoor seating was spacious and comfortable. Definitely want to come back and check out more of the menu.

YUM!So many exciting creative menu options. Almost everyone at our table chose the potato leek omelet in variations. Some vegan, some not. All delicious. We all had different coffee specialities. All were great. Staff all seemed attentive and friendly and knowledgeable. Great easy environment. Didn’t feel rushed even though there were people waiting for tables. Great indoor and outdoor seating options. Two good size free parking lots. Would definitely eat here again. One note so you’re prepared: There’s a 20% surcharge added to your ticket as a one fair wage fee instead of in addition to your tip. The staff as service was so good that I didn’t mind the fee. Vegetarian options: The entire menu is versatile and has vegan vegetarian options. Dietary restrictions: Had many options for gluten free, dairy free, vegan, etc. Parking: Two medium size parking lots
The potato leek tofu scramble was amazing, as were the pumpkin latte and cinnamon roll. Most of their food menu can be made vegan. Staff was super friendly. We came back twice in one weekend we liked it so much.Food: 5/5
Finally went to Bouldin Creek Cafe for lunch and it was great. Have some dietary restrictions this month and found the perfect option with the Moroccan summer bowl. Friendly staff and great space inside and out. Some of the sandwiches sounded delicious so I will have to go back when I can have gluten.Food: 5/5
Wow! Incredible food. The Pecan Pesto with chips is amazing. The espresso is excellent excellent as is the macchiatto.. On a personal note please stop with the "fair wage" virtue signaling. You put a 20% sur charge on all items and pass that cost on to your staff. You end up paying higher than market wages and end up with top notch employees. Its economics not "fairness". Keep up the great work!
The food and service were above any expectations, amazing ambiance, good music but not so loud you can't have a conversation. I am vegan and my fiancée is an omnivore, and we were both able to get breakfast including the obligatory breakfast taco that both tasted great and met our dietary preferences. I meant to take a picture of my food to show how amazing it looked, but it ended up in my stomach way too quickly. An absolute 10/10 gem
