Sorry it took 6 months to post a review but we went from an awesome experience with Boulevard Funeral Home to a nightmare with another funeral home ( in another county) and from that experience we now realize what a beautiful facility Boulevard is, with great service, and very, very fairly priced. The owners of Boulevard should be commended for they way they operate when judged against our recent experience. People should know (and research) that there is a difference in everything-even funerals and the funeral directors you trust at a vulnerable time. Thank you Michael and Patty for your professionalism, honesty, and making us feel like family.

I cannot express how easy and pleasant Michael made this trying time.  We discussed the immediate plans over the phone. Later, when mom passed we completed everything. 
Mom looked great, I could not have been more pleased.
Mom passed the day before Thanksgiving.  Friday Michael had his hands full getting everything in place and ready for Saturday’s viewing.  
He also allowed me to ride with him to the cremation.  He always was very professional, as well as friendly. I never met Michael before, but through this ordeal I truly felt that I had a friend.
He even went through the trouble of taping my eulogy, than had to deal with the problem of downloading it onto a flash drive for me. 
Michael and his staff went out of their way to make this emotional time, easy, pleasant, and without stress.  I will always be grateful, and will always recommend them to anyone.

Boulevard Funeral Home is absolutely amazing. Michael W. Mittenzwei and his team are professional, understanding, caring, flexible, knowedgable, nimble, and completely supportive throughout the entire process. They really made sure we knew and understood every step through very clear communication. The funeral home itself is spacious and the decor and room arrangements allow space for comfort, conversations, and privacy. The make up artist also did an amazing job thus allowing my family to give a proper and beautiful goodbye. I can't thank Boulevard Funeral Home enough and I highly recommend their services in time of need.

I had an excellent experience with Boulevard Funeral Home. The manager,  Michael W. Mittenzwei was very compassionate, understanding of my situation, empathetic and helpful in every way. He is very knowledgeable and advised me with patience and caring. My loved one could not have been in better hands.

Michael, the manager of the funeral home, went out of his way to make sure every detail of the funeral service was well taken care of.  He got us in touch of the web hosting company to fix the Chinese translation of the obituary on the website.  He worked with his printer so that we could put our own words on the memorial card.  The florist he recommended provided flowers that was most beautiful.  Thank you!
