Boyce Design transformed our backyard from an absolute mess into a woodland retreat. They installed a pool with spa, rebuilt our deck, and added an outdoor entertaining area with a kitchen and fireplace. All of the work looks like it was original to house and flows seamlessly from indoor to outdoor. Their design was very creative and addressed all of the issues that we had. The design integrated a pool into a sloped hill in a way that looks completely natural. Their stone masons' craftsmanship is first class. Everyone who worked on the project took great pride in their work. John, Thomas and Micah listened to us all the way through the project and were very open to our ideas. They were very responsive to us and were always incredibly polite and professional. I have recommended them to numerous people and will continue to do so! I would definitely work with them again on another project.

Boyce transformed our backyard into an Oasis! They started by helping us envision how to use the space. They prepared a design package that included drawings, 3D renderings and sample pictures. They quoted the project in phases, so that we could budget and plan out the project. In the end, they constructed a spa, pool, patio, fire pit, fence, landscaping and screened cedar porch. The finished work exceeded all expectations. Working with the guys at Boyce was a real pleasure. They worked hard to make sure we were fully satisfied.

We were ready to move forward on a pool, covered patio and garage addition with another pool installation company (four bids in total) when we met the Boyce brothers at a home show in Gwinnett. We were so impressed by their innovative approach and level of professionalism that we decided to enlist their services to create the dream backyard that we have today. Their creative approach helped us to think outside the box to design and expand our outdoor living area to suit the needs of our family. From the beginning to the end of the project, the Boyce team met and exceeded our high expectations in a number of key areas: · Correspondence and handling of HOA approvals · Enlisting artisans that take pride in their craftsmanship, whether it involves stone work, pool installation, garage building, or landscape designers – all were professional, courteous, and passionate about their work and serving us as the customer · Partnering with us on design enhancements along the way – meeting our needs but offering guidance based on their craft and creative expertise · Completing the project on time and informing us along the way of any budget impacts · Having a single point of contact that spans all the segments of our backyard design – they took accountability for all of the specialty areas We highly recommend the Boyce brothers for anyone thinking about this type of project. We think very highly of them as individuals with integrity and an extreme level of professionalism. Equally important, while the quality of their work is unmatched, they have been very responsive to any questions or issues post construction. We get so many wonderful comments on our backyard - all due to the efforts of the Boyce brothers.

Would not recommend!! Getting worse. Updated: 04/09/17: I have had a few inquiries about my experience since I posted this review so I will add additional info as requested. Yes the owners father is a lawyer. Once I was contacted by their father - I sought out and got my own lawyer as well. Thunderstorms from last week: During the last weeks thunder storms I notices my solarium (build by Boyce) was leaking and my backyard had a pond. I am not sure what they did but apparently it was inadequate. My recommendations: Get the work inspected by a professional on a regular basis (put it in the contract) Be aware of the fact their father is a lawyer Original review: This is about our experience with Boyce Design. We spend over $300000 back in 2013. We are now in 2017 building a new home worth ~$4M and only now are we realizing that Boyce's work is even worse than we thought. While 300K is a lot of money - the entire experience has taught me a lot. However while I am very vigilant with the new home construction - I am realizing that the new builder is already on top of all the issues I experienced with Boyce. Contact me if you want to read the review from 2013 Garage slab: Boyce's work - has issues after issues New home - No issues Bounce on floor: Boyce's work - major issues on 1st floor. When you walk the entire room shakes. Out of warranty now so we cannot get it fixed. We realized it only after we had lived in the house for a while with furniture in it. If you walk on the 1st floor - the bounce is so bad that it shakes and makes to much noise that people on the 2nd floor can hear it easy. Impossible to walk on this part of the floor without waking up the people on the bedroom above it. The original house has no such issues. If was even worse on the 2nd floor but my home inspector caught that and had them fix it. (it was not an easy fix) New home - No issues from day one on both 1st floor and 2nd floor - 15K sq ft home. Driveway: Boyce's work - the drive way is sinking. Additionally I was told the color of the driveway will match the old driveway. Not even close after after 2 yrs. The original drive way from the original builder is still intact without any sink-age. New home - the drive way has not been poured but has been compacted numerous times already. Add to that the headache of dealing with them after being contacted by their Lawyer - who happened to be the owners father. Contact me if you need additional information.
