Lovely place to study. I have studied at many university and public libraries throughout undergrad and graduate school. This one is definitely one of the best, with the loveliest upstairs study space that overlooks beautiful oak trees. Power outlets seem to be bit limited in that study area, but I have never had a problem with finding one. I would suggest coming in a opening times, to be sure you find the best seat for you, as it does get crowded on the weekends!

I was in here one night right before closing, and as always, it was nice and quiet. All of a sudden, as I'm walking down the stairs, the security guard let one rip. It reverberated throughout the entire library. He carried on like nothing happened. True story.

Great place to stop and draw plenty of room and tables! Very peaceful environment. Never any problems.

Extremely rude staff!!!! Had my children there during a visitation in the children's area and a lady working there complained about my kids mind u they are under 3 . This messed up my visitation time because her rudeness to my children made us want to leave ! Why have a children's area if kids can't be kids and read and color and play amongs themselves! I will never go back to this library again

Parking is often a problem. There is overflow parking in a grassy lot (and right now very, very soggy) across the street. Free wi-fi. Center Place venue is in the same building, with a nice little gift shop and ongoing beginner art classes. Local artist' work is often exhibited.
