Our mission is to give our clients an increased sense of safety and aesthetic enjoyment of the trees and other plants on their property, while at the same time maintaining and increasing the value of their investment.

Story

Braun Arboricultural Consulting LLC was founded in 2005 by David M. Braun, a consulting arborist with a doctorate in forest insect ecology from the University of Washington, Seattle.
Every property is unique and has valuable vegetation. As part of the service I offer, I point out what the natural vegetation is, its value, and how to restore and maintain it.
I want my clients to help them maximize the enjoyment they get from their property’s natural surroundings.
From its beginnings in pruning and assessing the health and hazard of individual trees, the company has expanded to additionally perform appraisals, removals, and ecosystem restoration focused on native plants and forest health.
Born and raised in Connecticut, David moved West in 1987, lived in Portland and Seattle, and in 1999 made Hood River his permanent home. He now lives there with his wife and son.
In his personal time, David enjoys being outdoors among the trees.
