Awesome lake for any beginner of fishing, awesome place to fish over night with friends or solo. Fire rings, picnic tables, and barbecue pits at plenty of spots. I believe it's #8 per person for the day and $18 for overnight including fee per person. The entrance has a store with bait and other necessities. Hours differ from holidays, spring, and summer time. Try Calaveras Lake as well!

First impressions are always the best and today unfortunately we were greeted with a bad attitude. I also believe we were being over charged for two adults 1 eight year old and 1 four year old.  The heavy set lady with moles charged 27 dollars. Am I wrong about that? I will never be going back glad I did not give them my money. After reading comments an ex employees says they will over charge. Sad situation here

Like this place. Great place to fish and BBQ and have a great family fun outing. I would recommend it to anyone plus they are usually stocked up of fish. Always walk away with at least 1.

Great place for camping and have a good time. Very clean and organized. The only bad thing is that is any fish in the water! We were all day and night...nothing bait, and to nobody else neither.

Great place for some Big redfish but it's questionable if you can eat the fish. If u don't eat fish then this is as good as any other lake.
