I am not very fond of this place. My mom had stage 4 cancer when she went to see the surgeons here. They were not very caring of her situation and very rough with her. They ended up doing the surgery a week later and EXTREMELY ROUGH. I was referred to this same place by my dentist. When I called to see if I could get an estimated amount of how much I would be charged for what I needed done and the lady who answered said I had to come in and set up a consultation and pay the 92.00 charge then they would let me know what and if my insurance would cover. I asked her if I could give her my insurance information over the phone to know what I would need to pay when I went in because I was pretty sure my insurance would cover part of that and I was told no, you have to do a consultation before we run your insurance. I will definitely be asking my dentist for another referral elsewhere since this place cares more about the money than they do a patients well being!!

I called in on Friday looking to have an appointment sometime early the next week. I was having severe pain in one of my wisdom teeth. I did not think this would be that big of an issue, being that on their website it states, "We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day." When I called over, the front desk associate completely dismissed my pain and stated something along the lines of, "the pain is normal and all babies go through this." She told me that the soonest I could be seen would be in two and a half weeks. I lasted the weekend by going to Urgent Care to get prescription pain pills and was prescribed antibiotic, due to the amount of inflammation, blood and even some pus on my gum. I called over to Northwest Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Huntsville Monday morning and they were able to see me THAT DAY! Not only were they able to see me for my consultation on Monday, but he also was able to pull out all four of my wisdom teeth that afternoon as well to help relieve my pain. The care I received upon my initial phone call was not of someone being brash, but rather someone that was full of compassion and empathy. Come to find out, my tooth was infected, which is why I was in such severe pain, and it was NOT because I was "simply teething like a baby." I DO NOT recommend this facility, especially if this is the way a front desk associate is allowed to act to a potential patient calling in. Take the short drive over to Huntsville, and see Dr. David J. Hoffman. Their staff from the front and throughout the surgery was spectacular!

Just had all my wisdom teeth removed. All the nursing staff and doctors are so friendly and seem to want to know you not just as a patient but as a person. Thankful for places like these that really care about their patients

I saw Dr. Garrett for wisdom tooth extraction not too long ago on the recommendation of a cardiologist friend. Dr. Garrett is a compassionate and smart man who does great work. Dr. Garrett took the last of my wisdom teeth out after I had 3 of them removed a few years ago by another surgeon. Comparing the two, I can say the experience with Dr. Garrett was just hands down better in most respects. Highly recommended.
